Private Home On Canal

Beautiful cottage home located on a canal in treasure cay. Green Gecko is a 2 story canal home that is 3,500 sqft with a detached garage. It has a covered front and back porch that runs the length of the house. The comfortable back porch overlooking the canal is a perfect place to read a book, sit and have lunch/dinner, or just relax and enjoy the breeze.

The master bedroom is located downstairs with a large bathroom and large walk in closet. Master has its own dedicated AC.
3 bedrooms upstairs 2 of them have on suite bathrooms. The house is set up with 3 AC units that keep the house nice and cool. Also many ceiling fans located in the rooms and the back porch.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchen supplies needed to mix up a tasty beverage or make a wonderful meal.
A laundry room is located just off the kitchen stocked with detergents and dryer sheets. You will also find an iron and iron board in the laundry room as well.

Dining room table seats 6 and 2 chairs located at the peninsula in kitchen.
The living room has spacious seating and is set up with the local cable channels. House is also set up with WiFi.

Green Gecko is sitting on a nice size lot which is very quite and private. Not many surrounding neighbors if you want that secluded feel. Enjoy the beautiful landscaped garden that has been meticulously maintained from when the house was built. Lucious sea grapes line the property.
Enjoy the large backyard with private dock on a quiet canal that will fit a boat up to 45’. Dock has full hook up with shore power and water. Additional $30 a day for shore power hook up.

Just to the side of the dock is a covered gazebo that sits over the water. It is set up with bar stools and tiled countertops. It is set up with a BBQ grill, sink, ceiling fan and outdoor lighting.
This house is truly amazing and offers everything you need to have a wonderful time in treasure cay.
The house also comes with 2 kayaks and a paddle board so you can cruise the canals for nice views or some early morning exercise.

Green Gecko is tastefully designed with island artwork, nice vibrant Bahamian colors, rattan furniture and nice island touches to create the relaxed and comfortable tropical setting.

Green Gecko is just 20 min from Treasure Cay airport (TCC) and 30-40 min taxi ride from Marsh Harbor (MHH).
Treasure Cay offers many things. You can rent a boat in the marina, go see the pigs on No Name Cay, snorkel, or fish the beautiful waters. You can be deep dropping or trolling in just 25 min from the dock at Green Gecko. Cruise the near by islands on your boat and visit all the bars and restaurants our just sight see. Wonderful white powder beaches to explore.
Treasure also offers an 18 hole golf course along with tennis and pickle ball.

Treasure offers some bars and restaurants for you to sit and enjoy some tasty Bahamian food or nice cold drinks.
Tipsy Bar is located in the marina where you can sit pool side or at the bar area and enjoy the people, music, dancing and the famous pizza every Thursday night.
Coco beach bar is located on one of the top ten beaches named by National Geographic. Sit and enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters. Coco beach bar also offers some water toys for rent.
Bahama Beach Club also sits on treasure cay beach. Sit and enjoy lunch/dinner pool side while being served by the wonderful staff.

Green gecko sits about 5 min golf cart ride to the hub of town. In town you have access to all restaurants, gift shops, the marina, ferries, boat and golf/ car rental, the local store to get all the food you need, a liquor store for beer/hard alcohol/wine/mixers and much much more.
Visit the bakery to get fresh made Bahamian bread and famous cinnamon rolls.

Green Gecko has its own generator and 500 gallon water tank. Self sufficient when we loose power on island.
This house is rented for a minimum of 5 nights.
