"We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during mid-June and the pool filter was broken such that the pool was unusable during our entire stay. For a remote place with limited amenities in the immediate area this was very limiting and certainly detracted from the experience that it should have been. The staff was gracious and did compensate by providing us a free spa usage which was a welcome experience. In addition, the meals we had during our stay at the facility were excellent."

Unica nota; la colazione, per quanto molto buona, non offre cibi salati (formaggio, prosciutto...) Tuttavia il rapporto qualità prezzo resta sicuramente positivo."

"Thoughtful host who provided a map with suggestions for drinks and food both in local area of Sala Baganza and also on Parma. Very tastefully modernized and very clean farmhouse. Good sized rooms and bathroom with quality amenities. Very quiet and new air-conditioning. Breakfast area on patio very pleasant. Patio also has multiple cozy sofas. Will definitely try to stay again on next visit."

"This lovely villa is set in a bucolic neighborhood just a few miles outside of Parma. Elena, the owner and host has made sure each guest is welcomed and pampered with a wonderful breakfast each morning, and ideas and arrangements regarding special culinary tours of the area, or trips to nearby Bologna and Modena. All her staff is as equally charming and engaging as Elena and we missed them all the minute we left. Special bonus, Zoe, the cutest little cocker spaniel ever!"

"I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people,including a cheese grater and corkscrew. I had a king size bed and also a foldout sofa in the dining/living room. very quiet street in the center of town. "The decor was plush a little old world that just added to the ambience of the stay. The staff very helpful and the restaurant serves excellent food. Easy walk from train station. Also a good gym I recommend a stay in Parma and if you do visit this hotel is a must"
