Family getaway
Beautiful setting. Could have been swept/mopped a little better. Hair/dust in corners of bathroom 1-2 inches from wall. Easy check-in/check-out directions. The futon bed was pretty hard to sleep on & set up.

Relaxing
The community is nice and peaceful. The people that stayed before us must have had a dog. It smelled like a wet dog and dog hair was everywhere. The property manager offered to have it cleaned again once I told her. The kayaks were nice to have and the beach area was very pretty. Overall, we had a nice time.

Would not rent again
Overall the cabin was too small and not comfortable. I knew the size when rented it but the futon was so uncomfortable we could not sit or sleep on it and the tv would not work for us to watch in the evening after a day of work meetings. We did not know how to get the heat going but the manager did reply to text and help. We ended up staying elsewhere the second night and eating the cost.

A perfect place to stay!
The cabin was great! It was nicely decorated, clean and had all that we needed. Very peaceful and scenic lake location and an easy drive to the wineries on Old Mission Peninsula. Angela was easy to contact and replied quickly to our questions. We will definitely return for another stay!

Cozy Cabin
It was cold, dark and rainy night when we arrived. It took us a while in the dark to figure out that after entering the provided code, that there was an unlock button that also needed to be entered to unlock the door. It was difficult for us to learn how to operate a wall unit heater as the directions for its use were attached to the bottom of the heater. We tried to use the TV, only to find that none of the batteries in the drawer with the fire stick worked. The next morning we turned on the oven, only to find that it didn’t work. Angela kindly gave us the code to another cabin close by so we could use the oven there. We were very thankful that we did not have to use the futon for sleeping, as it was not very comfortable , even for sitting on. We did enjoy the lakefront, it was a beautiful setting. We appreciated the kayaks, we used them to explore most of the lake. The water was very clear! The area was beautiful, we were there just before peak leaf season. We enjoyed hiking in different parks and the TART bike trail.

Decent but Inaccurate
The check in process was inconsistent between the application and provided instructions causing a delay in check in. An update in these instructions would go a long way. The floors were dirty and clearly not vacuumed causing my partner and I to have to wear socks and shoes full time. The wifi was also completely useless and did not allow us to watch movies or videos from our phones. Overall the property did fit the description with the exception of its cleanliness and effectiveness of wifi. If the owners were to update these to be accurate this would improve the rating.

Great Communal Lake Spot
Windjammer is a great setting of cabins set in a horseshoe. The cabin we stayed in (1) was perfect for a couple or three people. The kitchen is up to date so that we were able to cook any meals we needed. Even though cabin 1 is the smallest and most set back, we were still able to get a little view of the water from our deck. Of coarse, when the weather is good we didn't spend much time in our cabin, and Windjammer's beach, deck, and fire pit provided plenty of space and fantastic views of the lake. Spider Lake is a beautiful, quiet place in the morning and evening, with plenty of water activity during the day.

Wonderful lake cottage
My husband and I loved our time at this wonderful lake cottage! We especially loved being able to bring our Golden Retriever! The lake is awesome for swimming, fishing and all water activities. The location is so close to Traverse City, Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, tons of wineries and just so much to see in the area! I would absolutely recommend staying here. We are already looking into coming back next year and staying at one of the larger cabins and bringing our whole family!

Few days on the lake
My husband and I had a great time staying at this property with our pup. The lake is beautiful and we were so happy to find a place that is dog friendly! Angela was great at communicating and was quick to respond with any of our questions. We stayed in cabin #1 which was a perfect amount of space with our puppy, but would recommend trying for one of the larger cabins if you have a larger dog. We hope to visit again soon!

Loved our short stay
We booked cabin #1 for 2 nights as a last minute extension of our vacation. We surprised that the cabin was even better than advertised online. It was a pet friendly, clean, updated cabin with views of Spider Lake. We used the beach with our dog and the rowboat to take sunset cruises. It was a perfect place for us. Would definitely come back again.
