This dramatic 2700 square foot condo is nestled in the historically significant 1885 Chapel Building in The Village at Grand Traverse Commons, the site of the former Traverse City State Hospital. Over the last 20 years, the site has received national and international press for its unique story of rebirth and renewal into a mixed-use neighborhood.

Historic bricks and beams and dramatic open ceiling angles combined with new flooring and an abundance of wood finishes to create a space that is stunning and remarkably comfortable.

Spend your days exploring the vibrant shops and restaurants in the Mercato, or venture to the surrounding property where you'll find more restaurants, wineries, a bakery, coffee shop, and a brewery. Explore miles of hiking and walking trails that lead to the cistern, Hippie Tree, and the nearby Botanic Gardens.

Beautiful place in an excellent location!
We rented this suite for my SIL's birthday weekend and it comfortably accommodated 10 adults. The location was excellent - within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. Downtown TC was a few short miles away. The suite itself had everyone in our group gushing when they stepped off the elevator! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Birthday Get-A-Way Weekend!
My second time returning to this beautiful condo at The Commons. Highlights...we walked into TC (4 miles round trip) did shopping, dining and the night time tour of the hospital, just a perfect location. The condo is well appointed and plenty of room to spread out. Perfect having King beds on the main floor too. Laura the property manager is wonderful to work with, she made sure we had everything we needed (and nice to meet her!). I am very picky and everything exceeded our expectations! Cannot wait to return again soon!

I’m not sure where to begin, this condo has it all from the moment your personal elevator doors open onto you living room. Perfectly decorated, all the amenities you’ll need and exceptional location (right above Pepe Nero) walk tacross the street to grab coffee, tacos or play a game of Bocci ball! Can’t wait to go back!

We booked this property for a bachelorette party, and it was absolutely perfect! The penthouse is stunning and it comes equipped with everything you could possibly need. We also enjoyed how close it is to great restaurants, stores, and coffee shops! We had a wonderful experience! I would recommend this place to anyone going to Traverse!

Great condo and location for a family vacation. Spacious rooms, security, and private bathrooms were much appreciated! All area offerings provided many choices for activities throughout our stay: cherry festival, 4th of July, blue angels, downtown, shoreline, mission point, dunes, not to mention on-site car show, art fair, building shops, restaurants, bars.

Ladies winery weekend!!
