Your primary host will be Chris, the vacation rental manager. It's unlikely that you'll meet him in person but he is available via the Airbnb app or by text on his mobile (number shared per request).
He's a TC local and is eager to help answer any questions you might have, provide recommendations on his favorite places, or chat about anything else you might have on your mind! :)
The home has well water, and while it's not overly hard, some guests might be sensitive to the taste. For those folks, we provide a water dispenser that gets refilled regularly with those large jug refills. Regardless, the water is completely safe to drink, bath in, etc. :)
The property sits on holding tanks, and there is an alarm that may sound to indicate they need servicing/pumping in the upcoming future; if you hear the alarm sound, please shut it off and let the host know so he can schedule a pumping to occur following your check out (see house manual for further info)
Water safety is extremely important. Therefore, anyone who is under the age of 13 must wear a lifejacket when in the water, anyone using any of the provided watercraft (row boat, kayaks) must wear a lifejacket, and all youths under the age of 13 must be with a supervising adult when near the water.
Fire safety is equally important. Therefore, please make sure to keep children away when having a campfire, keep flames lower than 3 feet, and be sure to fully douse the flames when you're finished with your fire by dumping a full gallon of water on the fire/coals until they are completely dark.
