"PARKER PLACE" Southern Leelanau county, 10 minutes from down town Traverse city

Newly Remodeled ranch home in a private setting. Clean comfortable and just 10 minutes from Traverse City. Wineries, boat launches, Sleeping Bear national lakes shore, South end TIKI bar and Timberlee Hills are all just minutes away. Parker Place is located on a private dirt road near the south end of Lake Leelanau and is surrounded by wooded wet lands. (This house is not waterfront and doesn't come with lake access. there is not public access to Lake Leelanau within walking distance.) It is a quiet natural setting and our guests have enjoyed watching the birds, rabbits Turtles and occasional raccoon. There is an outdoor table and umbrella in the grilling /fire pit area and we provide the campfire wood and gas for the grill. We keep the house fully stocked with plenty of towels, paper products and many extras. There are only two properties beyond this rental; one of them is mine and the other is a seasonal home so you can expect privacy and very little traffic. Excellent July 4th weekend stay
The house was very clean and very accommodating with a lot of great weekend activities available such as a bonfire, grill and corn hole. It was a great experience for me and some friends and we got to enjoy a very fun July 4th weekend!

Great place a stones throw from Traverse City!
The house was perfect for my group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. Close to everything, but still getting a chance to be away from the hustle and bustle. House was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to get away from it all. Highly recommend!

We loved this house for our girls trip! Very cute, very clean and all arpund perfect. Took us 15 minutes to get to down town traverse and 45 minutes to get to torch lake!

Great spot for our group to stay during a wedding at Timberlee Hills. Everything was incredibly clean, updated, and well stocked. Little touches everywhere (like the s'more kit) show how thoughtful these hosts are.

We spent 4 nights at Parker Place and it was amazing. The property is top notch and has everything one needs. The kids enjoyed the board games and making s’mores over the fire pit. A great home in the Traverse City area.
We were so pleasantly surprise by the quality of this home and its furnishings. It was beautifully decorated and it was obvious from all the little things that a lot of thought was given for those of us who would stay there. Not only was it a perfect location to so many activities, they even had a well crafted, and stocked, fire pit area that was perfect for s'mores. We all came away as big fans of "Parker Place."

Absolute A+!!!! The owners were incredibly nice, check-in was easy and it was very clean. You never know for sure what your getting. Very clean, quiet, short drive to traverse city and winery's. Plenty of room for six adults. Hospitality from dawn was great !

This place was beautiful, the pictures doesn't do it's justice. It was very clean, very organized the house has everything you need to make your vacation home away from home. The owners thought of everything you might need. Destination is very quiet and private. All the locations are pretty close by. Dawn was very nice and we loved staying at this place. We will be back again!!

We stayed here for my bachelorette party and we had so much fun! The house is conveniently located. Everything was pristine and we had everything we needed. My car got a flat tire and Dawn and her husband were kind enough to help us. It was everything I was hoping for.

This is a gem!
Parker Place is a one-of-a-kind rental, spotless, perfectly appointed and in a location convenient to all the attractions in the area. Dawn and Mark were wonderful hosts and it was great talking to Mark to learn the history of the house. Their pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings and the details that make it so warm and inviting. We had a fun time exploring the house and the area, and hope to return soon!

Parker Place a Home Away From Home
Parker Place was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family trip. We were a family group of 6 women over the age of 40, that included 3 pair of sisters. The home was even more beautiful than the photos, including an amazing number of amenities and unique surprises. Dawn presented us with an immaculate, freshly decorated, comfortable space for our stay in a location close to all of the tourist areas we wished to visit. Our host responded to any needs or questions we had with expedience and kindness, respecting our privacy while making herself unassumingly available if needed. We highly recommend Parker Place for anyone visiting the Traverse City area, and hope to return ourselves one day.

Peaceful
Being a traverse City native, I appreciate the beauty the area offers as well as the people. Dawn thought of everything with her home. Everything you may need she has it, toothbrush, marshmallow sticks, firewood, kindling, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, first aid kit, very cozy home. The home is private and has beautiful flowers outside. Local artwork inside which we loved and appreciated (for purchase also - great idea). Beds were very comfortable, house has AC, very nicely decorated, and attention to detail exceptional. We were even greeted with a local cider, 4 MI wine glasses, and dried cherries, something I appreciate being from the area. Thank you Dawn for a wonderful home to stay in. Would stay again as it’s close to family and TC.

Secluded Retreat
The property was better than the pictures! A beautiful secluded location with only nature around you. We had a fire one night and all the makings were provided. Dawn went above and beyond on the comfortable decor, quality bedding, and the original artwork. She made us feel welcomed immediately upon opening the door. Would definitely stay again!

The property was newly remodeled with 3 decent sized bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It came equipped with all of the essentials in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. We even had access to the single car garage.

Parker place
House was extremely clean, and decorated beautifully 1/2 mile from the road and very peaceful. There was a birdhouse in the front yard attracting all sorts of birds to watch as well as a hummingbird. Beds were very comfortable. The only reason our rating was a 3 had to do with the accuracy of the listing. We thought there was a hot tub and spa tub. These were not there This was a mistake on VRBO part and not the owner. This was one of the reasons we chose the place so this was disappointing to us. The other mistake was stating that it was a 2 minute walk to the lake. The property said not lake front/ access, but we thought there was a path to take to get there. Again one of the reasons we selected the property. The owner did say we could go through their property, but we were right in their back yard. We didn’t want to intrude. Other than that everything was as stated

Dream vacation house
My family just had a wonderful stay at Parker Place. It is such a beautiful house that could comfortably accommodate 8 people. Short drive to downtown Traverse City, Sleepy Bear National Lakeshore and Fishtown etc. What’s more, Dawn is sooooo nice and considerate. I would highly recommend Parker Place to anyone traveling to northern Michigan. Thank you Dawn, we miss you and your beautiful house!!
