Enjoy the Best of Both Worlds on Beautiful Silver Lake

This 1700 square foot, year round family home has plenty of room plus a walk out basement. There is 65 feet of sandy lake frontage on Silver Lake with a gradual slope that is great for swimming. There is a stone patio with fire pit for lounging and a dock for your boat. Silver Lake is spring fed and is great for jet skis, tubing, water skiing, swimming and fishing.


Amenities & Activities: Air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet, full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils provided, linens provided, washer and dryer, gas grill (BBQ), no smoking, no pets and no use of fireplace.
Swimming, boating, shopping at Grand Traverse Mall, jet skiing, golf, sea plane rides on lake, tennis.

Area: 15 minutes from Traverse City, 10 minutes to Interlochen Academy
Weekly rentals only June, July , August.
Weekly rentals start on Saturday to Saturday.
If you need to cancel I will immediately re-rent and if I get the booking amount you will be refunded that amount. If I get a lesser amount due to short time to arrival you will get that amount.
I will absorb the credit card fee on the initial booking. The second payment is by check directly to me or pay the three percent credit card fee second payment.

The house was clean and well furnished. The outdoor spaces were amazing. Check in and check out were a breeze and we will definitely consider booking again if we come back to traverse city again.

Lovely cabin on the lake
The cabin was perfect for our stay! Beautiful setting! Cabin was very clean and very well stocked! Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay very much! Host was very responsive! Would love to return in the summer!

Stayed at this property over the memorial day weekend. The house has everything you need. The lake is beautiful. Beautiful backyard with fire pit kayaks, dock everything you need for vacation. Would stay there again. Richard is very helpful and always available.

Beautiful Silver Lake
Silver Lake is simply beautiful. We enjoyed it boating and from the very nice upper deck off the kitchen and living room. Outdoor furniture was very nice. Had a couple of fires in the fire pit as well. Gorgeous views. Nice kitchen! Kayaks were a bonus !! Very clean property. Plenty of linens too! 💙❤️

Great stay near Traverse City
We had a great stay at this property near Traverse City. It accommodated our group 11 (6 adults / 5 kids) great! Being right on the lake (and having kayaks available for use) was fantastic. Kitchen was well-stocked. Communication and logistics were a breeze. The only nit we would have is that the basement (where one of the bedrooms is) was quite cold, and there was no way to turn back the air conditioner down there. Despite that, we would still definitely recommend this place!

Highly Recommended, Beautiful Property
A beautiful property. The house is roomy, well maintained, and comfortable. Richard and Marcy (the owners) are wonderful folks - not unlike the many people you will encounter in Traverse City. The Silver Lake sunrises from the deck are truly phenomenal. If you know anything about Michigan lakes they are all scenic and clear; Silver Lake is no different. Great for family vacations; literally minutes from all sorts of sites and activities. This was our second visit to this property and are already planning our next. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! What an amazing place!!
We booked for the weekend for our daughters wedding. When we arrived we were in absolute awe of the view and the home. If you're looking for a negative about this place, its that you have to leave. We wanted to stay and enjoy everything! The house was so clean and eveything was right there. Wow. Wow wow. Is all I can say.

This lake house is perfect - has everything you need and great location.
The house was well-appointed and had everything you could think of. It was in the perfect location for feeling like you’re away from it all, but also close to Traverse City and Interlochen for food & fun. The beds are comfortable, the WiFi good, living spaces great, deck AWESOME, water beautiful - what more could you ask for? We came for Interlochen graduation and festival week. We were 8 minutes from campus which made it great to go back and forth for performances. We drove to TC every day for something and it was about 15 minutes? Once we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming.

We loved the property. There were enough beds for everyone. The front deck looked over a beautiful lake; it was so calming and peaceful! Great location to Traverse City and area happenings. We had a wonderful weekend! The host was very easy to contact and communicate with!

Best Firepit on Silver Lake
Great location and property. Very easy to work with the owners and the house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Used the kayaks every day and had a fire each night in the firepit overlooking the lake. Can't say enough great things about the house and location. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

Thanksgiving on Silver Lake
Our family of ten occupied this house for four nights over Thanksgiving. Wonderful stay! Fully stocked kitchen; beds for everyone; beautiful lakefront views. We had the best gathering in quite awhile and the accommodations add to the pleasure. Definitely will stay again.

Exactly what we needed!
This house was perfect for our 3 small families on Iceman weekend. A bit far from the start line, but a quick 25 minutes from Timber Ridge. The house was spacious and had everything we needed and then some in the kitchen. The lake is gorgeous, and we caught a beautiful sunrise. The teens enjoyed their own space to hang out in the basement away from the parents :-) Overall a really nice rental, and it was nice to chat with the owner the night before we arrived, in case we had any questions.

Best Girls Get Away Ever!
All 8 of us loved this house and it could not have been better! Everything we needed was right there on site. We were celebrating each other and the completion of one niece getting "carded" as a new physician and earned a well deserved break! Everything in the home was pristinely clean and comfortable, great beach front was beautiful.We are thinking we will make this an annual event!
