If you have been looking for the perfect waterfront, weeklong or extended-stay, vacation rental in Traverse City; we would like to welcome you to the Bay View Retreat located just miles from Downtown.

This stunning 4-bedroom 2-bathroom house is 2,210 square feet and features everything you would want from your own home, plus all the magic of Pure Michigan! Just a few worth noting include, a fully equipped kitchen, plush linens, fine bedding, comfortable seating, an open layout, a private backyard, updated décor, flat-screen TVs, and high-speed internet! Not to mention, guests are sure to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and swimming off the dock on prestigious Grand Traverse Bay.

The Bay View Retreat is perfectly situated on M22 between Downtown Traverse City and Suttons Bay, offering guests all the ease and convenience they could imagine!

In the mood for some excitement? Just head south a few miles, and you will find the hustle and bustle of Downtown's popular restaurants, shops, boutiques, bars, and public beaches.

Or how about a quiet scenic drive? This stretch of M22 is noted for having one of the most beautiful drivable shorelines in Northern Michigan! Just make one simple turn out of the driveway and you are on your way!

If endless opportunities for adventure, cozying up by a fire, and days spent “just sitting on the dock of the bay” are what you have in mind; then come and find your home away from home at the Bay Shore Retreat!

Please note: M22 runs through the property separating the house from the waterfront. Guests will have to cross the road to access the dock and water. The dock extends over the rocky shoreline and is accessible through the deck's side gate.

Rental Policy:
- No smoking or fireworks are permitted
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25.
- Reservations that exceed 30 days will be subject to a cleaning fee every 30 days in addition to the standard guest check-out cleaning and fee.

To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. This protection plan costs $49.00 for 1-29 nights, $249.00 for 30-59 nights, then $70.00 for each additional 30-night block. For Airbnb reservations, the initial $49 charge will be added to your reservation at booking and the remaining balance for the damage protection plan will be requested through Airbnb separately after check-in. West Bay getaway
We had a fantastic weekend retreat wine tasting in Leelanau peninsula shopping downtown and the state hospital shops. The resort was comfortable and very accommodating with kitchen and laundry supplies, wood for the fireplace and Beach chairs, and fun games outside. The only concern we have was the traffic in the morning starting at 6:00 AM from the front road. It wasn’t ideal location for wineries and downtown Traverse City.

Perfect area if you want to get out of the busy downtown area. A short drive to downtown TC. and Suttons Bay. The road is a bit noisy, but tolerable. Nice garage and approach for some driveway drinking. awesome view of the bay

This house was clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Updates to this home were well done and beds were very comfortable. I appreciated the responsiveness of the rental manager. Tom’s Market was five minutes away for groceries, and it was a short drive into downtown and Old Mission Peninsula. We’d stay here again!

Our VRBO was exactly what we wanted and more! First time to Traverse City and it was perfectly located in the midst of everything we wanted to do. 15 minutes to downtown, Suttons Bay and about 30 minutes to the dunes. Beautiful waterfront property with every amenity you could possibly need from putting our kayaks in on the dock to playing cards and cornhole around the fire pit on the beautiful back patio with a gorgeous landscaped yard. Management was very responsive with any of our needs. Can’t wait to go back!
