Search B&B in Trauchgau

"The property was in a beautiful area with a great view of Neuschwanstein and a short drive to the parking for both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwantein Castles. There is a restaurant on site with limited hours but breakfast was fantastic with a good variety. There is an additional fee but well worth it!. "This hotel is listed in Expedia as "Alpenmotel Sauling". The hardest part was finding it. We followed Google Maps to the location but could not find "Alpenmotel" on any building or sign. We went up and down the streets. We finally found "Sauling" and found a self service set of boxes on the outside. We found our name and the keys. There was a building (house) number but no map. "Four of us stayed in two rooms and we all rate this hotel and location TEN. It is clean and nice. The owner was extremely helpful. Fun to watch the cows come home across the street each evening. We stayed here three nights and would re-book in the future. Great location and MANY things to do and see close by."
