High quality fittings and finishes throughout, especially in the bathroom. Wall-mounted soap and shampoo dispensers that worked well. Lots of hot water in the rain shower. Everything very clean and in new condition. Comfortable bed (not too hard, as is usually the case in Thailand). The windows were very effective in keeping out traffic noise and indeed this was one of the quietest rooms I have ever had in Thailand. Fridge, kettle, TV with some English channels, coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Friendly and efficient front desk staff.
Breakfast was OK but uninspiring. The first day there was a choice of Thai and American set breakfasts, served plated. The next day there were more guests and a buffet was available instead, basically including the same ingredients.
I stayed for two nights but my room was not made up for the second night. Perhaps they expected me to indicate if I wanted this.
Location is very easy to find on the main road but the hotel is a couple of km outside of town, so transport is necessary. The hotel also has a conference/events centre and this was quite busy when I was there, though it was in no way inconvenient for hotel guests. The hotel restaurant was quite busy in the evening and the menu selection seemed good and reasonably priced, though I didn't try anything.
