"Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak. Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!"

"Very hard to check in if you speak English. Hidden entrance to get key to room and not at desk regularly if at all. Finally got a lady who spoke some English and managed to get key but it wasted a few hours of our time "

"Full-size, one bedroom apartment in a modern building close to the train station. It’s next to the railroad tracks, but only 2-3 trains came through at night – after the first night we didn’t notice them (stayed there 4 nights). Nice, helpful manager. "

"We arrived just before dark and the fellow at reception said that he was told that we had cancelled our reservation but LUCKILY for us that the room was still available. He was abit rough around the edges but he did fit the medieval era look. The location in Chianti was great close to many attractions to see. Lots of mosquitos in the area but the sights made up for any bites we received."
