"Nice, comfortable hotel, just a few minutes easy walk into the town. Comfortable beds in clean rooms, and a decent sized bathroom. Breakfast options were good, with some really nice cheeses and bread, along with cereals, pastries, etc. Reception staff were very helpful, both before our trip and during our stay."

"This was our fourth visit to Megeve, but our first time staying at Au Coin du Feu. We plan to become regulars! The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood on a hill, just a short walk from the center of the village. Our room was absolutely perfect with cozy stone and wood features, a modern bathroom, a charming balcony and even a view of Mont Blanc. "I begrudgingly offer a glowing review, begrudgingly because it will make this wonderful hotel a little bit more popular and a little bit more expensive. However, the staff are excellent, very hard working and extremely professional, and they deserve to be praised. The rooms and the spa (free for one guest for a two hour slot, extra for second guest) are also excellent. Ski lifts and multiple bars/restaurants are a short walk away. However, the restaurant in the hotel is also definitely worth visiting. I left my gloves in the bar, I cannot collect them so please treat them well. "

"Modern, spacious apartment in quiet area of La Clusaz. We stayed for a walking holiday and found it well situated to access a range of walking/hiking routes in the as long as one has access to a car. There is currently some building work in the adjacent properties but, as we were out during the day, did did not disturb us."

A warm, comfortable & well-equipped apartment near the slopes!

"My children and I enjoyed a very comfortable week's stay at the apartment - it is warm and spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a good location - just 5 minutes walk to/from the ski slopes or 5 minutes drive into the town, or there is a ski bus stop right outside the front door with various buses stopping there. The owner and local manager were great in their communications and the check-in/out process was very easy."

"The staff were helpful and the facilities were good at the property, ski in ski out, raclette to hire also thank you so much to the ladies and Charles at the other Azureva (Les confin) for sorting out our ski hire and making renting very smooth for us, great attention to detail. There were however a few niggles about the location which is voted great on Expedia but…it’s not if you don’t have a car or you’re a non skier. There is no local shop/supermarket/bakery without having to an endure a 25/30 minute walk or get a bus of which were very infrequent (every 1.5 hours) and stop service at 6.45pm, so you can’t even go for dinner in the town really unless you’re happy to walk back up. The propert itself was OK, really HOT to sleep in and no air con. It felt really small too for 6 people, we are fortunately a family but you could not do this with friends. The lights in the communal areas of the property were timed and this was REALLY annoying when you were getting ski’s on/putting them back - you ended up in pitch black, rummaging around for the light switch. In general; if we did return we would stay in the village. "
