"We are very happy with our home away from home while vacationing in Dominica. Leonard was very responsive from the questions we had before we booked until the end of our stay. He helped with taxi arrangements from the airport to recommending a car rental service. "I stayed here with my brother, his 2 kids, and my mom. This cute little home had everything inside. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a large family meal. There was AC, comfortable beds, and space for my group of 5. There were even some toys for the kids and a nice outdoor space. "

"There was nothing to like about this place. It was dirty smell of marijuana. The bathroom had no lighting. the roof was dirty and mouldy. Honestly i don't think this place should be advertised to rent for people. I ended up booking somewhere else because it was not accommodating. The picture advertised is not the real place. I'd like a refund because i only spent 10minutes at this palce and left."

"I had a wonderful time and the hosts were one of the reasons why! The grounds are just beautiful! The place was perfect for me, very spacious and comfortable. I can't say enough about the hosts. Marica gave me great detailed suggestions on what to see and do near by and none of them disappointed. Even with having a toddler and newborn, they still responded to my requests promptly. The only suggestion I have (this is not related to this property) is if you plan on driving to make a car...

"Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. "

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

Satisfying stay

"Beautiful stay near Atlantic coast with spa and restaurant on site. The food was all delicious; the pool refreshing and nearby river and ocean spectacular, watched the sunrise every morning from the benches near the beach and had dinner every night at the restaurant - pizzas and everything on menu fantastic as are the drinks from the bar "

"Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Great view of the sea and mountains. Tamara (staff) was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming. She ensured I had everything that I needed. The room was huge, clean and cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Hotel Champs is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an affordable, quiet stay. I highly recommend it! "

"I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Dominica to stay here. I had an amazing stay thanks to the staff and the beautiful nature all around. Very comfortable and relaxing. I travel a lot and always stay in hotel, but this is a place of serenity. Highly recommend to stay here for a different experience from your typical hotel. You really get to take in the island and all its beauty."

"I wish I'd had more than one night to relax at this little gem of a hotel on a little gem of an island nation. The hotel arranged a taxi from DOM airport, and I was welcomed warmly and thoughtfully upon arrival. My particular needs were met with great care. My room, really a suite, was well appointed and included a fully stocked kitchen. Everyone on staff was polite and accommodating. I had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant. My meal was good, but the heat in the no-AC dining room and the constant need to shoo away flies made it a somewhat uncomfortable experience. This was the only downside, and it did not put any sort of damper on my stay. I look forward to returning if life takes me back to Dominica."
