This charming apartment is in the heart of North Ward, just minutes from Castle Hill walking tracks, the Sports Reserve, Queens Gardens, and the best local cafes and shops. It’s perfect for exploring Townsville and relaxing after a busy day.
Recently renovated, this cozy first-floor apartment has three air-conditioned bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Ideal for families, friends, or business stays.

The Space:
ou’ll feel right at home here! Please note we have a no-party policy to ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful and pleasant environment.

While there’s no on-site parking, you’ll find plenty of free parking just outside on Paxton Street. The new kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy meals together.

Each bedroom has built-in wardrobes, and the freshly renovated bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower.

We take extra care to ensure your linens and towels are freshly laundered by a local company, so you can relax and enjoy a clean and welcoming space. We can’t wait to host you!

Guest Access:
The entire first-floor apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay.

Please note that the ground floor houses a business, and gardeners and maintenance contractors may visit occasionally to upkeep the external areas.

For check-in, we require photos of your ID and credit card, which will be securely destroyed after check-out. Self-check-in is preferred.

The Neighborhood:
North Ward is one of the oldest and most popular suburbs of Townsville. Wedged between towering Castle Hill and the deep blue Coral Sea, North Ward overlooks the tourist drawcard of Magnetic Island and the Port of Townsville.

North Ward is home to The Strand, a bustling seaside foreshore brimming with chic restaurants and cafes, legendary Queensland watering holes and glorious ocean views. The Strand offers a safe swimming beach, rock pool, palm fringed landscaping, children's free fun water park, barbecues and picnic areas and a network of bike paths and walkways. The beaches have stinger enclosures (November to April) and there is good fishing to be had from the pier.

The suburb of North Ward also contains fine examples of early Queensland architecture including pre-war hotels and church buildings dating back to the late 1800s.

Jezzine Barracks, located at the end of The Strand, is a perfect outing for history buffs with access to the Military Museum and a collection of outdoor sculptures and walkways that provide historical insight into the days of the war and Townsville's development. Head up to Kissing Point Jezzine Barracks for some of Townsville best ocean views.

Not far from The Strand and Jezzine Barracks is Queens Gardens, one of three fine botanical gardens in the city. Established in 1870, Queens Gardens includes a formal rose garden, two small hedge mazes, a rainforest walk and a small aviary featuring peacocks, lorikeets and sulfur-crested cockatoos.

North Ward is just minutes from the Townsville City Centre.

- Ground Floor: a business operates during during weekdays.
-Behavior: Please keep noise levels down, especially from 10pm-7am. Respect for our neighbors helps everyone enjoy their stay. Persistent noise complaints may lead to eviction.
-Cleaning: Help us maintain a tidy home by leaving it clean. Excessive mess requiring extra cleaning may incur a charge of $100-$150.
-Damage & Breakages: You’re responsible for any damage, wear, or missing items. Charges may apply if issues are noted after your stay.
-Keys: Report lost keys immediately. Replacement costs $75. Lockouts incur a $60 fee plus locksmith charges.
-Liability: We aren’t liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss. We recommend travel and health insurance for peace of mind.
-Lost Items: Left something behind? We can return it for a $50 handling fee plus shipping costs.
-Occupancy: Only the number of guests booked can stay at the property.
- Parties and functions are not permitted
-Pets: Pets are welcome with prior approval. Unauthorized pets may lead to extra fees or eviction.
-Rubbish: Please use council bins for rubbish regularly and before departure.
-Security: Ensure all doors are locked and air conditioners turned off when leaving.
-Smoking: This is a smoke-free property. A $400 fee applies for smoking inside, and a $150 fee for cigarette butts found on the property.

Apartment
Excellent apartment had everything we needed from the kitchen, washing machine, dryer, microwave etc. Place was clean and in walking distance to the strand etc. Appreciate Ish hosting our family and we will definitely come back to stay if we we visiting Townsville again :)
