Beautiful, private log cabin with huge, relaxing screened porch

Private, Dog Friendly Log Cabin on VAST trail, Near Skiing with loft and game room. Set off the road, you will love this 3 bed plus loft, two full bath home with open concept living room/kitchen/dining area. Two private bedrooms on the first floor offer full or queen beds sharing the full bathroom. The second floor has a private bedroom setup for a family. One king bed, and twin over full bunk beds. There is also a loft that can be used as a gathering space but also has sleeping for 5: full, twin and full futon. There is also a full bath.

On seven isolated acres you can hike, hunt, camp, snow shoe and snowmobile, ATV, mountain bike, etc right out the back door. There is a large firepit area where you can talk about the day's adventures while making s'mores and listening for the local owls. The wild turkeys come through the yard regularly. The very large, screened in front porch with dining table and porch swing is the best place to start, end or spend your day.

Your vacation includes linens, plowing and firewood. Kitchen is fully stocked and DISH TV with Sirius radio and SMART options on all three floors. Internet is excellent and allows us to work from our "home away from home". Cell service is dependable however, landline with unlimited US and Canada calling included.

Great time on the mountain!
We had a great stay at Labrador Lodge! The house was comfortable and cozy. The layout of the home worked perfectly for our family and we loved being together on the quiet mountain road. The beautiful, large screen porch was our favorite part!

This house is amazing, my children enjoyed playing games at the basement we loved to go outside there is a trails just at the back door of the house, the house is so cozy and comfortable we definitely will be back. The owner of the house is so nice and caring, I really recommend it.

Charming Cabin!
Beth, the owner, was so helpful and so easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. We didn't have any issues at the cabin and it fit our group comfortably. It is a great place to get away! Would definitely recommend.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!!
If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable "cabin", this is it. Spacious, clean, and well equipped. Plenty of room in the open design living room/kitchen. All appliances were clean and in excellent condition. We love to cook and were impressed with the wide array of pots & pans, utensils and dinnerware. Everything we needed was there! Bedrooms had clean comfortable beds

We had a wonderful time and quite an experience I didn’t realize we were that far up a mountain and with over 12 + inches of snow was a eye opener to drive. The cabin was beautiful and enjoyable. My only recommendations for staying there is don’t depend on the supplies (Paper goods) as we were left with 2 half rolls of TP and snowed in for two days luckily we travel with the necessities. Also if going up in the snow bring a shovel to have when you get there as the plow driver doesn’t plow where you have to get into the house. Lastly be careful going down the stairs to the basement as the handrail stops and you have more stairs to go down Do Not use the right side wall as a guide to go the rest of the stairs as it is a door that is not latched. You will find out the hard way like our family member did. Enjoyed snowmobiling and the quiet would highly recommend 😊

Although the road in and out was challenging due to snow n ice, the location was perfect for us. The outdoor fire pit was enjoyed by our family during a snowfall! Plenty of firewood for wood burning stove and fire pit. Well stocked kitchen, tInternet and plenty of room for kids and dogs. 30-40 min from Stratton Mt. Beth was very responsive, flexible and accommodating. One of the best winter vacations yet!

The cabin was just beautiful. Super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. My grandson and his Dad enjoyed the fir pit, caught a small frog and even saw a porcupine. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt extremely safe while staying there. Great house and location
We were traveling with family and friend, 11 in total, a mix of adults and teenagers, plenty of room and it was clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Beth was great, answers quick. We were planning a snowmobile weekend as the house has trail access unfortunately not enough snow but Beth gave us recommendations on other location and things to do. We would recommend this house, private and quiet.

Great stay at a great house!
We stayed here for a ski trip given it’s proximity to a number a nearby ski resorts. The house was comfortable, warm, and decorated for the holidays. We had plenty of room both inside and outside and enjoyed the rural location. Really really happy with our stay and wouldn’t definitely come back.

Incredible stay

Spotless Mountain Retreat
We were looking for a quiet home, off the beaten path for our first little trip back into the world with friends. We could not have asked for a better property. Tucked up the mountain in a small Vermont town just outside of Brattleboro, we were close enough to modern conveniences, while enjoy peace and quiet in a beautiful log cabin. As a new mama, traveling with another new mama and our babies, we were so happy to find this property was pristine. Every surface was clean, we had access to any amenities we needed, and Beth was incredibly communicative. A wonderful restful weekend in a beautiful home. If you're traveling with a small group, we highly recommend this cozy retreat.
