Great House for big groups, but missing some details
House was plenty big for our large extended family. The kids really enjoyed the first floor with all of the amenities. Kitchen and living area were spacious allowing great family time. There are a few items that were lacking—esp when traveling with a big group. Not enough towels. Bunk room on 3rd level does not have a railing for the top bunk. We had to move the mattress on the floor. Kitchen pots and pans were very small / not big enough to cook for large groups and most need to be replaced. There were no oven mits and only two kitchen towels one wash cloth. Grills could definitely use a little TLC. The hot tub would not heat over 100, so that was disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy that. Not enough hot water to go around for showering. There was a wasp nest somewhere as many were flying around. We killed several but there were always more coming from somewhere. Overall these small things didn’t compromise us having a great time and loved that this house provided the space for our family to enjoy each others company. I do not think we would stay in Townsend again, but I would recommend this house for others looking to accommodate a large family. The management company was very nice/ responsive to questions pre arrival—Owner, not so much (you can tell the difference).

WARNING
In fairness, let me start with the good. Beautiful view and home overall. The property manager was very responsive whenever we texted and someone was sent out if there was an issue. Now onto the issues. It's a rental property, so normal wear and tear is to be expected. Part of stove didnt work and the microwave didnt either. There was an extra in the movie room so we just brought it up and used it during our stay. The oven we didnt use until we thoroughly cleaned it. It looked like someone had caught something on fire in it and left it. We bought groceries the first day, but on the second day we noticed mice had gotten into some of our items overnight. We went to a local hardware store and bought mouse traps (and caught a few during our stay). I get you're out in the woods, but some preventative controls would be nice. All of the above was not optimal, but acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was this: we noticed our kids, who had been sleeping in the downstairs bunk room, started to have red bite marks on them. At first we thought it might be the hot tub, so we didnt let them use it anymore. The marks got worse, so we checked the beds downstairs and confirmed bed bugs! Disgusting and shocking. By the time we found them, we were leaving the next morning, so the kids slept in other rooms upstairs the last night. Couldn't wait to get out of there. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Beautiful Views
We booked this cabin last minute for a fall break vacation with the family. This cabin is very spacious and was very clean. It was more than large enough for just our family of 5. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms! We had fun watching movies in the theater and playing arcade games. The hot tub was cozy and perfect. The master suite has an adjustable bed and is a California King (I believe). 3 of the bedrooms have their own deck with chairs and fireplaces. The Mountain View’s from the porch were just perfect. Would stay here again.

Great spot for Family and Friends
The online photos did not do the property any justice, much better in person. The property comfortably support my family of 14, however the hot water tank did not stay hot long enough to support the entire party. The property has an elevator which was awesome to have the only problem was the lower level elevator access did not always work it requires maintenance and a proper adjustment in order to consistently work. The grille looks like it has not been cleaned in forever, luckily we did not need to use it. The oven also requires cleaning. We had an emergency water leak and the maintenance guy responded very quickly and was very attentive! The movie room was super nice and comfortable with a very large/ nice TV. All the electronic games in the game room worked. Having a fireplace in most every room was a nice touch. The hot tub was nice as well. Although the communication of questions we had prior to our stay was mediocre we definitely recommend this cabin.

Great cabin but pool is far
So the cabin was great there was 13 of us. It was clean and well maintained and the kids loved the hot tub. The only complaint was the pool was 15 minutes away no where near the property and after a day of site seeing I don’t want to pack the car up with the kids to drive to the pool.

Not Impressed!
All 1st floor rooms were infested with little worms. Thousands of them all over the floor and in dresser drawers. Outside grills were disgusting and had fur growing on the undersides of the grills, looks like they had never been cleaned since they were purchased. The floor in the theater room was disgusting, the chairs look like they had never been pulled out and cleaned under. Candy wrappers and food debris was under all 3 rows of chairs. My Wife and My Mother actually cleaned the floor before we would let the kids watch a movie, which is another thing, the website advertised a DVD player being available in the theater room. There wasn't a DVD Player anywhere in the house and when we called the after hours number to ask about it, the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude. When he was asked about the DVD Player his first words were "How does a DVD Player constitute an emergency?" (quoted word for word). I was floored and asked him to repeat himself which he did by saying exactly the same phrase followed by, "This is an after hours emergency number for things like a water leak or to call if the cabin was on fire" (also quoted word for word). He said I would need to call back after the weekend was over. We were staying over the fourth of July weekend meaning the office was again not going to be open on Monday the fourth and we were checking out on Tuesday Morning the 5th which I told him by then we wouldn't need a DVD Player. When you have seven children that were excited about a theater room only to be disappointed because they couldn't watch their favorite movies. Don't advertise something that isn't available. The Management company representative displayed the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The only saving grace to this whole experience was the Receptionist at the office when we checked out on Tuesday was very kind, professional and friendly, but the overall feel for the weekend was not a good one and I will never rent from this company again. ***BEWARE***

Excellent place to spend with family
The view was great, the kids saw a couple bears. We were close to the park and away from the traffic of Pigeon Forge. We were able to eat as a group in the large dining area. It was a great place to have a family get together.

Lovely Views
The property had fabulous views and a game room for the kids. There is not a lot of places to eat that will accommodate a large group and they close so early we would stay there again, it would be nice if they paved the driveway.

Spacious and gorgeous!
My family loved our stay at the cabin. The views were stunning and the cabin itself provided entertainment for all of us. We loved sitting around the fire, playing games and watching movies at night. Only thing that would have made it perfect was functional wifi. Hopefully that will be resolved for the next guests!

Great place for big families! We had a great time, the place was clean, we had a small issue at the theater room but they came quickly to fix it.
