"The rural setting was perfect - so peaceful - just what we needed. A soaring buzzard and a few tiny lizards in the garden were the only regular visitors 😂!! We loved the house and it was very well equipped, especially in the kitchen with lots of thoughtful touches. The pool is fabulous - a really good size. As it’s not heated, it maybe a tad brisk on cooler days but great as the weather heats up. There were all sorts of games available- including a table tennis table, badminton and a football...

"We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. "This is a charming, up to date gite in an ideal location, 3 km from Eymet, a wonderful small village in Dordogne. It is hard to get a sense of just how peaceful the location is from the photos, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. Michael and Donna were great hosts. I only wish we could have stayed longer than the 6 nights we were there. "

"The gite was spacious and comfortable. Best of all it remained cool day and night in temperatures of over 30c. The terrace was especially delightful and the setting is very peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped although the free-standing oven was less than satisfactory and difficult to control. There is a large (unfenced) grassed area which children would enjoy.
