"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. "The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. Communication with Olivier and Emmanuelle was excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again if we return to the area."

"The village is small and the people in the local shops and restaurants are very welcoming… Apart from “hello - goodbye - please - thank you “ our French is shameful. But everyone was so friendly.. Our hosts, Anne-Sophie and Olivier were lovely. The cottage was fresh, clean, well equipped and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. If are looking for somewhere to call home and relax after exploring the region, this is the place stay."
