"The first night of our stay, I unrolled a towel on the bed in the cottage and 2 roaches fell out. Then I pulled down the comforter and more roaches were crawling around. I messaged the host on VRBO and heard nothing. I then messaged via text. The only response was that the host had not gotten the message on VRBO. No action or apology."

"The location of the house was superb for morning and afternoons on the beach for swimming, relaxing and introducing a toddler to the sea. The house itself was beautifully equipped and comfortable for us all, and the small town perfect for early morning coffee and excellent croissants with a choice of small restaurants for other meals. "Our family of 6 was traveling northern France and stayed 4 days. Everything was perfect! The location is walking distance to the Boardwalk of Deauville and downtown for dinner. The home itself was beautiful, well kept and stocked for our convenience. The management was immediately responsive to our needs. As a foreigner some things lost in translation were readily clarified when I was confused which helped a great deal."
