"From the moment we walked into this house , we were wowed. The incredible picturesque views that streamed in through all the wi dies in the house made us feel like we were enveloped by nature. We were able to enjoy sunsets and sunrises from the panoramic windows and the house itself was exceptionally clean, had quality appliances and everything g we would need to prepare meals. "This is such a great property, I spent a whole month with three separate stays adjacent due to travel planning and the host was wonderful. The house is really beautiful and in a great neighborhood and it’s very comfortable and super clean. This will be a regular for me in the Hartford area. "I had a great stay in West Hartford with my 17 year old daughter. The property is conveniently located in West Hartford and also a quick drive to the University of Hartford, which we visit for an Art School event. The host is fantastic, provides great communication and simple check-in/ check-out process. The parking spot is ample and the home was comfortable and just as described. We will book this place again and highly recommend! "

"We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided. "

"Charming cottage with beautiful lake views. It’s clean and stocked with things like coffee and spices, so you don’t need to buy a lot of extra things just for a short stay. Lots of wildlife and convenient for both short and extensive walks/hikes. "

"The check-in process was easy and all instructions were clear. Jonathan, the owner, was very responsive and easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. The place was cute, clean, and perfect for what I needed (a place to stay during my medical school rotation). As the review says, it is not ideal for taller guests as the roof slopes down in certain areas, but I found the place cozy."
