South of Alicante (airport 38 km) is the tourist-friendly resort of La Mata in the heart of the Costa Blanca. Shopping possibilities and a large gastronomic offer are in the place. The apartment is located in an apartment house just a stone's throw from the beach. The daily maintained, elongated sandy beach invites you to sunbathe, the guarded sea section for swimming. The very extensive beach promenade seduces many guests every day for extended strolling.
La Mata is known for its miles of sandy beaches. They are lined with many restaurants and bars. A lively beach and nightlife awaits you in summer. Peaceful quiet and almost village idyll in winter. The gastronomy and bars on the beach expect the guest but also in this season. All the necessary shopping and a great weekly market right next to the apartment, are available all year round. A beach, as in Miami invites you to swim and the very extensive beach promenade to stroll.
The apartment on the first floor is suitable for 4 persons (2-3 adults, 1-2 children). It can be reached by elevator. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the living-dining room with a sofa bed and a couch. The Ap. has SAT Smart TV (all major German, European programs & Internet) and radio with CD player. Upon request, you will receive a Wi-Fi access. The apartment has a separate kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet. A large breakfast balcony lets you look at the sea. They also spoil the warm sunshine throughout the day, all year round. The spacious balcony with sea views has large sliding glass doors and lets in plenty of light. This guarantees a very pleasant stay even in winter.

Staying at Stalag 13 in La Mata aka casa London
Billit 14 Absolutely a grim place , the commandant and her guards who live there we disgusting to British holiday makers who were unfortunate to be dumped here from throwing our washing on the floor to not even letting us in the communal garden ,they made our stay before escaping ,terrible , the streets all over were covered in dog mess not just one but on every street. The commandant would question every move when we were allowed out to exercise questions were all way asked ,like where you go ,how long we be , even took tap fittings off outside shower so we couldn't shower the sand off . Some Local restaurants had signs up not wanting holiday clientele, re we support responsible tourism only locals allowed signs up . But hay you live and learn ,there are other places and country's to visit so save your time and money and don't visit here or trust VRBO the cheating robbing company

Lovely Apartment
I was very impressed with the cleanliness and location of this apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable. Area was very safe (for solo traveller). Met at apartment by Olga who showed me around and explained where things were. Unfortunately two things were not to my liking… one, the TV only had German channels (which was not mentioned on the listing) and secondly, there was a very unsafe and unusable socket beside the sofa (I have taken a picture of this should it be required). Thanks for an amazing service and I’ll be sure to use your services again.

Kakerlaken in der Wohnung
Leider war unser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung alles andere als erholsam. Am dritten Tag haben wir Kakerlaken in der Wohnung entdeckt, was für uns absolut inakzeptabel ist. Es nicht nur unangenehm, sondern auch gesundheitlich gefährlich für mich, da ich allergisch auf Insektenstiche reagiere. Zu allem Überfluss wurde ich am siebten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes am Bein gebissen (zu dem Zeitpunkt ist mein Insektenschutzspray leer gegangen), was zu einer starken Entzündung führte. Dies zwang uns dazu, den Urlaub früher als geplant abzubrechen. Das einzig positive war der reibunslose Ablauf des Check-ins und Check-outs, vielen Dank an Olga.

Apartamento sencillo, pero había cucarachas
El apartamento era viejito,sencillo, pero tenía todo lo necesario para unos días, no estaba mal, lo malo es que había cucarachas, según nos dijo al llegar había por toda la zona y habían fumigado el edificio ya, pero salieron bastantes, así que con eso no estuvimos como nos hubiera gustado, por lo demás bien.

Es war für den Preis ganz ok aaaaber….
Für den Preis muss man einfach sagen kann man nicht allzu viel erwarten dennoch war die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet sie war auch was die Sauberkeit betrifft sauber allerdings wohnt man in einem Haus war auch Menschen fast wohnen und wir hatten das Glück dass neben uns jemand geliebt hat er sehr dreckig war und die ganze Zeit kam der Geruch von dieser Familie Zu und rüber so dass wir angefangen haben uns zu ekeln. Wir sind tatsächlich früher abgereist als wir gebucht haben aus dem ganz einfachen Grund dass wir mit Kakerlaken zu tun hatten und das war für uns ein absolutes no go die erste Kakerlake haben wir schon am zweiten Abend gesehen da haben wir versucht relativ cool mit umzugehen aber als wir dann eine Woche später vier weitere quer über die Wände laufen hatten Wasser uns ganz klar hier wollen wir nicht bleiben.

Drei herrliche Wochen in La Mata
Eine schöne Wohnung, in der man es gut drei Wochen aushalten kann. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Auch die Lage gefiel mir sehr gut, da man nicht mitten im Trubel aber auch nicht zu abgelegen wohnt. Der schöne Strand von La Mata ist zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Für Fahrten in die Stadt oder die Umgebung hatte ich einen Mietwagen. Es fuhren aber auch regelmäßig Busse von der nahe gelegenen Haltestelle. Im außergewöhnlich milden Winter 2018/2019 brauchte ich nicht einmal zu heizen und konnte fast jeden Morgen bei Sonnenschein auf dem Südbalkon frühstücken. Meine Ansprüche hat die Wohnung prima erfüllt und das bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

El apartamento era agradable pero servicios adicionales caros
La estancia fue agradable y el apartamento coincidia con las fotografías pero es verdad que luego los servicios adicionales eran bastante caros como la limpieza y tampoco me parece bien que cobrasen por la wifi cada dia. Y fue bastante caro el servicio de envíos que escogieron para devolver una camiseta que me había dejado. Tambien para el precio que cobran por la limpieza había muchos bichos en el cuarto de baño que salían cada día. Por lo demás, la estancia estuvo bien.
