Nice big hotel.All the staff friendly and helpful. Food nice but repetitive as you would expect from an all inclusive hotel.Quality of food good.Only Amstel lager available which is a poor lager.

I didnt like the reception staff they are not helpful and poor customer service, i appreciate the restaurant staff they've been working hard, especially Abdel Hakim from Tangiers, was so helpful. As well the bar staff were so great.

Great hotel handy to town

Great hotel lovely rooms and the food was lovely, just this time of year is full of spain pensioners who take over the bar that has the entainment in it not a space or seat

Very nice hotel!

Hotel was better than expected ( earlier reviews). Excellent price / quality. Friendly staff, comfy bed, Food was good. Really enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back in future.

Value, central Hotel

Value for money, room was fine although plumbing in bathroom not 100%,shower could do with updating. Service in coffee shop slow as ,only one on bar ,but all staff very pleasant and very hard working. Hotel in good position if you want to be in town centre.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and we had another lovely short break. We had a pool facing room which was lovely. The resturant food was excellent, plenty of choice and The La Gioconda resturant was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We frequently used the cafeteria La Griego. All the staff are friendly and make you very welcome. We like the location of the hotel as it is a nice walk to the shops and beach. We will definately return. T

Lovely holiday

lovely clean room on 1st floor overlooking the restaurant outdoor area and pool.friendly helpful staff. Could do with more lifts. We left at 9.45am and it was impossible to get in the lift to take our luggage downstairs. Fortunately we only had to go down 2 floors. Food is good with a variety but lacks vegetables. Noisy seating areas. Could do with a quiet room for people to relax in.

All experience is very good .The staff and the customer services are the best in this hotel. They went out of the way to help everyone at all times. Hotel was busy but never had any issues specifically to do with dining as staff work hard to us all comfortable.

Griego, the Hotel thats actually makes Bingo fun!!

Great stay in Griego. This is our second stay in Griego, and it fit our family of three in a good way. Our daughter love the hotel and the people working there. The activity leaders is fun both during the day time and in the evenings during the entertainment of different sort. They actually makes bingo fun, and thats an achievement. Our daughter Laura loves you. We would love to come back again.

Not enough sunbeds in day or seats outside in evening to watch entertainment, not enough bar staff. Very slow to get served. Overall nice hotel could be great if a bit of money spent on it. The hotel was ok and staff were friendly and helpful but mealtimes were very busy. Very little room to walk between tables and it was so busy the staff couldnt clear tables quick enough to seat the waiting people as hard as they tried. After placing coffees on a table i went to get breakfast, when i returned someone had taken my chair. It got chaotic on times with people pushing into queues to get food . Same thing happens in bar there is not enough tables and chairs for people to watch shows and that resulted in grumpy pushy people trying to force chairs in front us blocking us in i found this too stressful and i got up and left and did not go in there again during our stay. There can be a long wait for the lift as alot of people need to get to and from higher floors to restaurant etc.

The hotel is well situated, 5 minutes walk from restaurants and boutiques. 2 minutes walk from the bus stop for Malaga, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Mijas. Night entertainement can be disturbing if you are on the pool side, and you want to sleep before 11. You have to pay to use the safe in the room, something I have never seen before.The food in the restaurant is average, buffet type, not much selectionor variety. The bathroom, in the room we had is under standards. No counter space and the shower in the tub is very much out of date.Still, because of it's location, I would recommend the hotel, but give it 3 stars, not 4.

3rd time staying at the property as we love the location etc… Sandos have taken over this year and we felt the food choice wasn’t the best. Desserts bit bland in Main restaurant but amazing in their BBQ restaurant. New mattresses were very comfortable and rooftop terrace was amazing with refillable soft drinks & beer for AI guests over 18yrs. Great coffee bar. On arrival we had few issues with room that were quickly rectified by the helpful young long dark haired girl when we checked in. We had asked for high floor ✔️ and sunny balcony ✖️ they gave us the only room in hotel (1824) with no sun at all as squashed in corner of building therefore we couldn’t sit on balcony as freezing with wind/shade. The lady manager at reception with the white shirt is rude and could maybe improve her customer service skills. Ruben a waiter in restaurant is very lazy just wants to float about chatting to others whilst all other waiters are busy clearing up etc…

Ckeckin was quick and smooth, when we arrived in our room it was simple but clean. The hotel is quite dated in some areas which can make it look a little untidy. My biggest let down was the food, the dining area smelt and looked clean but food was not great in my opinion. There was a grill station and meat was never cooked through. I got pork and chicken which were both cold, pink and slimey in the middle. This did not bother me as I could cut around the uncooked pieces. It did make me uneasy having to check every bite that my child had to eat. I had to use the microwave to heat up various dishes then I tried the pallea one evening and the rice was hard and undercooked but the seafood set ontop was dried out under the heat lamps. Next was there was not enough seating for everyone during the evening entertainment. We can not comment about entertainment as we never got to watch it as there was never any seats available.
