"Very spacious, comfortable rooms. Bathrooms need updating though. The one issue we had is the steepness of the stairs down to the hotel on arrival. Breakfast was typically Italian - mostly sweet. The breakfast room has a view not to be missed. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. "

"This hotel says it has a 24hr desk in the info. We arrived at 10pm and there was nobody there. Nobody answered the buzzer or the phone. When we contacted hotels.com they said they could not reach the hotel and could not confirm that we didn't stay there, so they refused to give us a refund... even though we booked another hotel the same night from hotels.com. I was expecting a sincere apology but instead have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my credit card. Crazy."

"La casa è deliziosa e confortevole, il giardino con i pini offre ombra e fresco anche nelle giornate più calde; il delizioso porticato fa passare la voglia di cenare al ristorante. Infine Hardy, il proprietario, è molto gentile e premuroso (all'arrivo abbiamo trovato vino per noi e cibo per il nostro cane) ; anche nei giorni successivi è stato attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. "Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. Every request was met with a friendly response, quickly filled, and above and beyond what we expected. Most hotels with the amenities and service...
