I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Papa in Torra Annunziata, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is fantastic, with easy walking access to the Pompei ruins, grocery stores, bakeries, pasticceria, and the train station. It’s also conveniently just a 20-minute drive to Herculeanum and about an hour to the beautiful Amalfi Coast destinations of Positano and Amalfi, even in summer traffic. Antonio, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, treating us like long-time friends. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation was perfect—well air-conditioned and fully equipped with everything we needed. Antonio even provided free coffee, sweets, and munchies, which were a lovely touch. The place was impeccably clean, featuring a nice bathroom and high-quality sheets and towels that felt new. Additionally, the rooms were very quiet, ensuring a restful stay. Thank you so much, Antonio! We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Amazing, and Friendly
We arrived by subway to the area and expected to get a ride the short distance to the unit. It is not far but with the heat we preferred not to walk. Unfortunately we had trouble getting a taxi or Uber. (Be aware we could not get any Uber during our stay in the area). As we chatted with our host he offered to pick us up. This was not expected, but showed the caring and personal nature that he puts in to see his guest enjoy their stay. Once we arrived we were given keys and shown around. There is a total loss on verbal conversation. I speak no Italian and he speaks very little English. Google translator to the rescue! This rental could not have been better! Two spacious bedrooms, full kitchen, sitting area and a large bathroom. Maps, tour guides, and more are left for guests. Coffee/Tea maker with accompanied snacks. We never turned on the TV. The A/C was needed for the hot days during our stay. There is no shower but a bathtub with shower head. The next morning we walked to Pompeii (directly across from the subway station). Later in the day we took a taxi to the waterfront for a nice dinner and to watch the sunset. We felt safe walking, although some areas had limited sidewalks. There is little to do in the immediate area. If you are here you should be planning a day at Pompeii, and/or get a ride to the further reaches to see the area. I don't know if I'll ever make it back to Pompeii, but if I do, I will be certain to look up Antonio. He is a great and caring host.
