Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member at the registration desk who was polite, and welcoming.
The hotel was clean and fairly modern, and the continental breakfast had excellent options!
The room beside ours had very clearly been pried open (likely by the local fire department), and was heavily damaged, and adorned with duct tape and a padlock. While the room was unoccupied, it was a bit unnerving for my children to see the condition of the door of this room and know that it was one that adjoined to ours.
The gym was small, but very clean and well-maintained. The equipment was quite high quality and all three machines (treadmill, elliptical, and recumbent bike) worked very well. The mirrored wall was heavily damaged with very large spiderweb cracks in one entire panel (approximately one-third) of the wall.
The hotel pool was located in a warm area, and although quite small, it was quiet, as there were no other occupants. The temperature was good, although the amount of chlorination affected my children’s eyes and they weren’t able to swim for long.
Our room was very clean and well-maintained. When we realized that the television remote was not working, a quick visit to the front desk had them fix the issue by replacing it within moments. The staff were very accommodating, and pleasant to deal with!
Overall, I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others!
