Pleasantly unpleasant
The view of the lake is wonderful, however, if you plan on going in off season where the lake is unavailable due to low & cold waters. Be prepared to be limited on other outdoor activities. We stayed for a 4 day ladies retreat in hopes of enjoying some extra activities such as s’mores, by the fire pit & grilling out . Unfortunately, the fire pit consisted of a small pit nearly half way down the hill with two moss covered stumps on a slanted hillside neatly about to fall over, weeds had pretty much takin over the area. Then when we uncovered the grill, we quickly noticed a used spatula and an unclean grill. Other than the unusable amenities, we also encountered some other inconveniences. For this to be a home that slept 12, we only had 6 washcloths for our 4 day stay for 9 ladies. When asked for additional washcloths, we were that, that was an unusual request and to cut up a hand towel. Now let’s not forget the most gruesome part of the home. Every balcony railing was covered in black mold - so it was hard to lean on the balcony and enjoy the view of the beautiful lake. The outdoor patio set, yep you guessed it! Covered in black mold!!! The kayaks that were available to use were dry rotted. The window seals & corners of the flooring were left unattended and had gathered not only dust but cobwebs and dead insects. The home itself was nice, beds were okay. Overall the home was lacking in cleanliness and amenities, like I said it was pleasantly unpleasant
