"Excellent resort beautiful views from ocean view room and the lobby area. We did half board and buffet style breakfast and dinner were excellent. The hotel is situated on top of a steep hill so walking into the town is not an option but the hotel provides free shuttle service which is very convenient."

"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped. The dinner was traditional Japanese and had great customer service. The room was simple with all the amenities and even a bath tub for the room. Lots of privacy in the room and had a fantastic...

"It has a shuttle service from the Sendai station to the hotel. Great view from room and Onsen. The decor is slightly dated but in good shape. I would visit again!"

"It is a great ryokan for its value. The staffs do not speak English but they are friendly and helpful but there are English written instructions in the rooms. The bath are okay. There are indoor and outdoor baths"

"かなりおすすめのホテルです。松島で客室露天風呂付きのお部屋を探していて、こちらに辿り着きました。お部屋は写真よりも広く、カップルでリラックスして過ごすのには最適です。部屋の目の前には松島の海が広がっていますよ。お食事は海鮮系の和食で、伝統的な日本式の旅館・ホテルのような食事体験を期待している人に特におすすめです（ブッフェ形式ではなく、一人一人お膳を用意いただける形式です）。最寄駅からのアクセスもよく、徒歩15分以内なので、駅前の観光をしながら楽しく歩いてホテルまでむかいました（希望があれば送迎もしれくれるので、歩きたくない人でも安心）なお、ホテルの目の前には小さな島があり、そこに大量のカモメがいて、個人的にはそれも見どころの一つかなと思いました（鳴き声がうるさいと感じる人もいるかもしれませんが、それ以外はとっても静かなエリアです）総合的に大満足のステイでした。カップルで素敵な思い出を作るなら、ぜひ海風土さんを利用してみてくださいね。"

"I would highly recommend this ryokan. They were able to provide me with vegan meals, made for myself only. The owners and all staff were friendly and kind. The staff serving out meals were so bubbly and happy! There are many different onsen in this ryokan too. A sauna onsen, a foot onsen, a women's only onsen, a mixed onsen and 3 private onsen (2 of which are on the 4th floor so very nice to watch the sunrise/sunset). Another outdoor onsen away from the property could be used for an extra fee....
