"Villa Alizee is probably the best and friendliest place we have stayed in the 4weeks we have spent on this island so far. We were made extremely welcome on our arrival. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished and we had a lovely patio overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee was available at all times. Breakfasts were made personally to order as were the evening meals. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Our hire-car was kept secure in a large on-site compound....

They have really taken on board the Mauritian way and that translates into a really relaxed vibe. Wonderful food and a great night's sleep! "The property owners were so nice and helpful. They helped us get a cab to go to dinner because there is nothing close to the property. The property was sufficient for a one night pre-cruise stay. We booked three rooms, one of which was spacious and had a great water view. The other two were smaller and simple. "We wish to thank Kris & his wife for making our trip memorable. The accommodation was just perfect for us. It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. "1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"
