The space: The 2200 sqft. cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Unwind on the wrap-around deck while watching sunsets on our outdoor patio set, or kick back and watch TV on one of two 55" flat screen TVs equipped with Dish Network. The outfitted kitchen has nearly everything you need to cook for the entire family. Bring a blanket and circle around the firepit overlooking the water while enjoying the breathtaking star-filled sky. The Town of King boat launch is located right next door to the cottage making launching your boat effortless. Tomahawk is known for their exceptional snowmobiling trails and summer trails. Hop on the snowmobile trail within 700 yards from the back door of the cottage. Tons of summer trails are located within riding distance. When the day is over, you are welcome to store your toys in our 2 car garage or at our pier. We are at your service at any time of day via call or message.
What you'll have access to: Guests have access to the entire cottage and property. You will have kayaks and canoes to borrow. Please respect our neighbors and stay on our property, the southern line is marked with a survey posts.
The neighborhood and area: The neighborhood is located on a peninsula, with little traffic. Our neighbors are very friendly people. It is a serene Northwoods setting facing westward, creating some spectacular sunsets! When you need to go in to town, Tomahawk is only 5 minutes away. The area has LOTS to offer from the best fishing in the area, supper clubs, trail riding, hiking, snowshoeing, golfing, and the Midwest's LARGEST ski resort within an hour. Camp 10 ski hill in Rhinelander is another closer option.
The eastern flow of the Wisconsin River opens up in to Lake Alice, which has an endless amount of shoreline and water to explore via kayak, canoe, or snowmobile. With a maximum depth of 32 feet, you will find an endless amount of panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and the coveted Wisconsin musky. The Town of King boat launch is located right next to the property. Tomahawk is KNOWN for their riding trails. A snowmobile trail is within 700 yards from the back door where you can ride directly from the cottage to the trail. During the summer, the riding trails are within a short distance from the cottage where you can ride directly to them.
Getting around: There is off-street parking located in the driveway at the cottage. You are welcome to park in the 2 car garage. Tomahawk is only a 5 minute drive from the cottage. It is necessary to bring a vehicle to get around. Tomahawk is an ATV/UTV friendly city, and you can ride your ATV/UTV on most roads (make sure its a marked route).
- Check in time is 4:00 P.M. on the first day of the booking.
- Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. on the last day of the booking. Please follow the check-out instructions in your guidebook.
- Please refrain from using shoes/boots inside the cottage. Thank you!
- Please respect our neighbors and stay within our property. The property line is marked with two survey posts on the south end.
-Do not dispose grease down drains.
-Do not dispose anything but toilet paper in toilets.
- A garage key is provided to access the garage. Losing this key will result in a $50 charge for replacing the key.
- Guests are required to communicate with the host.
-Ensure all fires and grills are extinguished before vacating the property or going to bed.
- When using the grill, make sure the grill is not right next to the cottage. Ensure there is at least 3' of space from the house to the grill.
- Only the number of people are allowed to stay at the lodge as accepted in the original booking.
- Events are not allowed on the property. Feel free to contact Ben for any questions.
- A maximum of 2 pets are allowed to stay at the cottage. Be sure to bring their own beds and toys. Any damages caused by pets will be charged back to your reservation. An initial $60/night charge will be added to your booking which will count for 2 nights of pet fees if you bring a pet. An additional $30/night will be added for each night past two nights in your booking. Pet fees are $30/night if you bring a pet. Guest must disclose to the host if they are bringing pets prior to check-in.
- Pets are *not* allowed on furniture or the beds.
- No smoking is allowed inside the lodge. Dispose any butts in a can or bottle.
- Quiet hours are between 9:00 P.M. and 10:00 A.M.. Please respect our neighbors!
- No fires in the fire pit should exceed 4' in height. Do not accelerate fires with gas/oil/etc.
- No parking on the grass.
- Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
