"Old beat up facility. Beds are terrible, heard water running trough the radiators all night long. Bathroom smelled of urine/feces although it was clean. No ventilation in bathroom. Chose because it was close to daughter, would not stay here again."

The toilet had waste in it that was not flushed; there was hair on the shower floor and in the floor of the room; the rug was not vacuumed, as there were nail clippings on it; and the room was dusty, which could be seen on the tables and cups. "Even better than the pictures suggest. The cottage is very remote but easy to find with a decent sat nav. Even though we stayed during a cold spell in June, the cottage is perfectly comfortable. The lake is beautiful to look at but we weren't able to get on it due to the weather. What is really nice is that this is someone's cottage and feels like home rather than a sterile holiday rental.
