"Authentic farmhouse property - very quaint and quiet. It added to the sense that we were assimilating into Italy and not just staying in a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. The owners are fabulous - kind and considerate. We were there when it was too cold to use the pool. The countryside is just gorgeous. The food they prepared was delicious. They do not speak a lot of English but I was able to communicate adequately. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

"If I could give more stars I would! What a beautiful unique place! the staff was like a family & took such good care of us. For dinner they went to their garden & brought back fresh vegetables to cook for us ONLY! It was magical & a beautiful escape from busy Rome! I will definitely go again! "

"This property advertised free wifi, but NO wifi was in any of the rooms. Also the heater for the room was controlled by the owner via a timer, which was only on for a couple of hours in the evening. We were freezing all night long. We would never stay or recommend this hotel. Expedia need to check on their hotel choices before offering them."

"This convent has exceeded our expectations and turned out to be a memorable, very comfortable stay. We arrived in the dark and didn’t really have a good idea of what’s around us. In the morning we had a lovely surprise waiting for us. The view from our window was magical - rolling hills with a beautiful ruin of a castle on top. "The place is an absolute gem: clean, quiet, with lovely furniture and an excellent breakfast. Also, thumbs up for the commitment to eco-sustainability. Last but not least, Mr. Stefano offered us great advice on nearby attractions and restaurant. We totally enjoyed our one-night stay, we'd come back for sure!"

"We stopped here one night on our trip through Italy. We wanted to see the nearby "Garden of Tarot". Owners were super nice and friendly. The guest house was very clean and comfortable, and really quiet which we appreciated. Breakfast was great. Nice, easy, comfortable stay"

"We decided to stay at Podere Giullio, because we wanted to be kind of close to the airport after getting off s flight from Sicily to Rome. The drive from the airport was a little longer than we anticipated and we did have difficulties finding the agriotouriismo ....but after some friendly directions from a lovely man just closing up his shop, we finally arrived and happy to be there. What a lovely place. We had a suite that would sleep 4 comfortably. The best part was the restaurant on the farm....

We were very fortunate to be able to go on a hike on the property with Lorenzo, who was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Tuscania and its people. Throughout the hike, we were able to see, climb into caves and learn of the ancient Etruscan civilization and the Necropolis that lies beneath the present day agricultural areas. "This is a great hotel with a super sweet staff! You can walk straight to the beach and there’s cafes directly across the street. One of the few places you can get crispy bacon and eggs for breakfast. It’s a small boutique hotel with a big heart! Don’t miss the chef’s lasagna. "

"The staff were really helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. The only downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) is that we were told there would be a taxi stand at the ferry station. There was not. It was 10pm and an uber would have taken at least 30 minutes to wait for. We ended up having to walk with our luggage in the rain to the hotel. It was close enough to walk but probably 25 minutes. But I recommend the hotel overall."
