"Lovely hotel with lots of character. Good breakfast in a nice environment. Convenient for shops, restaurants and sight seeing. We stayed one night and although we had a superior room it had no air conditioning. It was very hot and we couldn’t open the patio doors due to the outside noise."

"28-8-21- We left the accommodation just 2 days into our 7 day vacation. It was not secure and a health and safety risk. On arrival, we pointed out that 3 x pairs of glass sliding doors did not lock at all. Next day the owner sent an alleged “locksmith” and told us they were all fixed. Unfortunately, they were not all fixed and we complained again. The solution was to screw them all shut causing a fire escape risk. A visit with mom

"It was a quick visit. The city within the walls was beautiful and the location was amazing! The Cathedral was right next door! The bed was very comfortable and I love that there was a couch to relax on instead of sitting only on the bed. Good amenities, even the coffee was tasty. The room is also very safe for older folks with a bar in the shower for safety. My mom and I loved it! "

One of the best hotels in Avila

"This hotel is very well presented. The decor is lovely and the way they have fest the rooms is very impressive with exposed walls and roof beams. Not very many of the staff speak fluent English but they try hard and the reception always has a fluent English speaker. Anyway it was good for me to practice my Spanish."
