Quiet Country Ranch Barn Apartment!

Welcome to Cowboy Country! This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath barn apartment on a small working ranch. We raise American Quarter Horses here as well as Registered Charolais cattle. Also present on our property you will find horses, roping steers, 3 Nigerian Dwarf goats, and 2 donkeys. On Wednesday nights we have team roping practice in our arena (weather permitting). We are “horse friendly” with stalls available for an additional fee. Please contact us for details if you need horse accommodations.

Rural Getaway
Perfect place for our stay. Was much more rural than we expected and quite challenging to navigate very late at night. If we hadn’t had Google maps we never would have found it. Thoroughly enjoyed all the animals… donkeys, horses, new baby goat, but most especially the very sweet Aussie, Buddy. Would stay again for sure.

This was such a neat place, very clean and extremely comfortable. This is a must stay and we will definitely be booking here again! We enjoyed their sweet dogs and loved getting to see the horses.

This apartment is very cute and clean. The bed was comfy too! The animals were a hit with me and the main reason I booked it! They are up close and personal and so cute! "Buddy" the puppy was there to welcome us and see us off. What a sweet baby. The horses were very friendly as well. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Perfect quick Getaway
Perfect distance from Dallas and far enough away from the closest city to be quiet and calm. The hosts were accommodating and had everything we needed. The animals on the property were an added bonus. Dogs are friendly, horses beautiful and the turkeys were kind. Definitely will book in the future.

Beautiful working ranch!
Great setting in the country outside of Granbury and Glen Rose. Nice, peaceful getaway from the 'burbs. The dogs and horses were very friendly, as well as the owners!

Relaxing get-away.
This place was amazing. Just what our group of ladies needed for a get-away from the hussel & bussel of life. Enjoyed the quite in the country surroundings. Buddy (the dog) was so friendly. Enjoyed all the animals. Close enough to jot into town for eating & shopping & enjoying the festival that was going on in Grandbury & Glen rose. The place was exceptional----clean, cozy, warming, everything you would want. Will most definately be back & suggested to several friends & family already.
