"There was a great arrival welcome feature of free wine and beverages. My room had plenty of local welcome snacks plus beer, whiskey complimentary. Onsen was beautiful indoors and out. "The breakfast was fantastic. The common bath was great for relaxation at the end of the day. The owner of the place, despite not speaking much English, was very helpful and there was pick up service from the train station. Only thing is that if you arrive later than 20:00 there won't be much happening around the area, nor there are anywhere to eat, which should be paid attention to as Ise is famous for its gourmet experience so you don't want to end up wasting your dinner chance at s convenient...

Easily accessible by train from Nagoya city centre, however the train station has one bus (and no taxi stand) to the resort every couple of hours so organise ahead. "This is a hidden gem that I literally stumbled upon. This area is famous for agriculture so the food was sourced locally and amazing. The staff is international so even if you don't speak much Japanese you will be fine. It is peaceful and fun to walk around the area. We even met a young tomato and melon farmer who showed us his greenhouse. It was like staying in a ancient Japanese palace in a very local village. The price was so worth it and the cafe and various places to use my PC made this...

"We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."
