"The cabin and property exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect weekend getaway. The beds were the so comfy, the fireplace, the hot tub, the river…it was all lovely. Communication with the hosts was great, and the place was easy to find. Everyone in town my was really nice. I even saw an otter in the river. "

"We enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for two adults. Nice kitchen. Rather old, but kept up nicely & clean. Did not have heat in every room, just one heating unit in the living room hall & a portable space heater. Had a hard time heating the whole place up. Beautiful location, just a short walk to the Ocean."

"Multiple safety hazards to include three missing smoke alarms, exposed electrical wire, extremely dirty heater, non-functioning kitchen and bathroom fans. Unit was still very dirty. Kitchen was grimy, floors were so dirty we had to wash our feet to get into bed, sink wouldn’t drain in the kitchen. Overall, would never book again and definitely put a damper on our holiday."

"The cottage overall was fine. Nice kitchen setup. Bathroom was okay but the shower was so small that my 6'2" husband was not able to fit. (Picture the movie Elf and when he outgrew the house.)The mattress was so firm that my husband woke with a sore back each morning. The TV never worked and even though there was internet service, phone service for us didn’t exist. I recommend getting cards or board games. "

"Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. "Gonna point a few things out that would have made our stay at the Sportsman's cabin that may sound picky, but the following did detract from our stay in their totality. First impressions of the cabin is it is clean and nicely furnished. The leather couch with its recliner function was really comfortable. The cabin is right on the access road to the beach! Once we got in and started getting situated we noticed the missing/broken slats on some of the blinds. Turned on the tv and the picture was...
