Wave Haven Waterfront Condo Hotel - Perfect for two!

Tofino's Wave Haven Waterfront studio suite is situated downtown Tofino and overlooks its bustling working harbour. Be right in the centre of it all and enjoy amazing views of Clayoquot Sound and its majestic old growth forests from the windows and deck. Within walking distance to all amenities, including grocery and liquor stores, restaurants, waterfront adventure tour operators, gift shops and more. A bright and colourfully decorated space that includes a fully equipped kitchen.

This bright condo hotel is a cozy, open studio space, is ideal for 2 adults and has a queen bed and pullout sofa. Dining table for 4 and an open concept living room / dining. The full kitchen has an all the basics and more, like a blender. The coffee is locally roasted by Foggy Bean. The bathroom offers shampoo and conditioner.

ACCESS
Guest access is by key in a lockbox, with access to entire apartment. The condo building is right on Tofino's harbour. There are two entrances routes to the front door - The ground floor entrance has a wheelchair friendly ramp and if coming from the upper parking lot, there is a set of stairs.

CHECK IN
The condo hotel is set up for self check-in. Blue Crush is the Tofino based management company and we live in town and am only a phone call or text away if you need anything, including recommendations, during your stay.

LOCATION
Tofino Waterfront Condo Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Tofino, right on the water. You are within walking distance of everything in town; including restaurants, Tonquin Beach, the Tonquin trail system, adventure tourism providers, as well as shops and galleries. On the main level is a great coffee shop called Savary Island Pie Co. Yummy treats and spreads along with the usual coffee fare.

TRANSPORTATION
To get to Tofino from the mainland, you need to take a ferry to Nanaimo (closest) or Victoria. From there, it's a scenic drive. Anywhere from 3 (Nanaimo) to 5 hours (Victoria). You can also fly into the airport with Pacific Coastal Airlines (the flight is stunning and so quick!) or seasonally, take a float plane from the Vancouver harbour downtown to Tofino harbour downtown.

There is a designated pedestrian path we call the MUP (multi use path) which is safe and has two lanes for walkers, bikers, joggers, strollers - you name it!. We encourage you to use it; it's one of the things that makes Tofino unique. The free Shuttle bus runs during the summer months from town to the info centre. There is a city transit service that runs from Tofino to Ucluelet with limited service. There are a couple bike rentals (pedal bike and e-bike). There is also a local rideshare app called Coastal Rides, our version of Uber (download their app). Tofino Taxi is another option (though only one driver/car). For larger groups, there is Tiki Bus + Pacific Rim Navigators that needs to be pre arranged. There is a Budget Rental car service at the Tofino Airport (also needs to be pre-arranged).

PARKING
You have access to one guaranteed parking spot on site, with additional street parking available. In the summer, a free beach bus runs to all local beaches and is accessible close to the condo.

OUTDOORS
You have private access to the balcony with two chairs facing the harbour.


BOOKING POLICIES:
- Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus GST, PST and MRDT (Municipal) tax.
- During the peak summer season (June 15 – Sept 15), houses have a 3 night minimum (or more) stay must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you book and create a one night gap, we will contact you to shuffle the reservation ahead.
- Mid-season rates apply on Winter long weekends and during Christmas.
- 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays
- 5-10% discount for 7 nights or more not during peak season; reach out for it to be applied
- Cancellation: 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee plus GST if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in. Both airbnb and the website state slightly different as they are pre set options; this policy takes precedence.
- Direct Booking Damage Deposit: A damage deposit is held (not charged) the day of check in and released 5 business days after check out as long as no damage has been incurred if you are booking direct.
