"We had a short but wonderful stay! The two concierges, Sergio and Stephanie could not have been more friendly and welcoming and both were extremely helpful in addressing every question and need we had. When we arrived, there was an issue with our room but they quickly addressed it offering a free upgrade and amenities to ensure our stay was as good if not better than what we had originally planned. Everything was lovely and we all had a wonderful time (family of 5) "

"We are so happy we stayed at Akwaba Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and we had opportunity to walk around and explore. We loved and appreciated the home made meals, breakfast to get us going with fresh homemade bread and jams. Then dinners, with a couple options to choose from, were delicious. We felt like we were part of the family dining there. The room had all we needed and was cleaned daily. "My wife and I stayed for 9 nights last week and couldn't believe how quiet, peaceful and lovely the place is! The beach was beautiful and private. The whole place is private! You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! The only place to connect with the outside world is in the main clubhouse where there is satellite internet, which we didn't mind at all bc we were definitely trying to unplug. There are some activities you can do such as your basic water sports or book...

"The vision and model they have are unique from out travels. Being immersed in the jungle with the howler monkeys waking you each morning, the rain dancing off of the domed ‘cabanas’ and the panoramic views of the jungle were memorable. "

"One of the most extraordinary places we visited during our stay in Panama. If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. Away from anything else, in the middle of nature, beaches and gorgeous sealife! The residence was just perfect, with stunning views over the ocean and the jungle. Highly recommended!"

Private Beachfront House With Kayak & Guided Tours

"Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot of questions because we wish we brought more water and food on the off season. But he’s very responsive and helped us with our needs. Be mindful this is a rustic jungle experience with lots of jungle critters, birds crabs, doggies around. Bring som bug spray and enjoy this adventurous experience. "
