"Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"We arrived during a power outage. It wasn’t looking good for this trip. Reach out to the owners and they got back to me very quickly. We went into town to get some groceries in the meanwhile. When we got back, the trip was officially on. We really liked the look of the cabin. It was kind of secluded which we liked and it wasn’t too hard to find.
