"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. "Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. "

"I requested a ground or first floor room as I have mobility problems. They emailed me and said they had a ground floor room, but it was an upgrade from what I had booked, therefore I needed to pay another £20.00 per night. I think this was absorbitant, as it didn’t look like the hotel was fully booked. Surely they accommodate disabled people all the time, or is it just a way of getting extra money. The site I booked through didn’t give me the option to say I was disabled, so I think these...
