Cute little farmhouse, perfect for a fall getaway. Close to both Shenandoah National park and Harrisonburg. The hosts were very organized with notes throughout the house giving details on how to operate appliances, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and the living room had a guest book with every guest’s recommendations in the area. Very homey.
We needed a place that would allow our pups to stay with us, due to a last minute cancellation by our dog sitter. So glad to find this great house that was not far from JMU, the reason we were in town.
Beds were comfy, house was spotless! We appreciated it all.

Disappointed
Looking at description on vrbo was exactly what I was looking for - a farmhouse in a quiet location near other family and home church near by.
When we arrived it was obviously not ready for visitors - the yard was overgrown and weeds were around the entire house. It was June and Christmas decorations were laying in the weeds at the entrance door. The inside was decorated lovingly; kitchen stocked well; furniture adequate. Location of the bathroom away from the bedrooms not good and tub was not handicapped accessible; toilet and tub were not clean. The outdoor wicker furniture was falling apart and was a hazard for anyone sitting on it. This could be a beautiful farm getaway but needs someone to insure that it is ready for visitors. We were booked for five nights but left a day early.
