"A 30 minute drive from the Opren gate of Kruger Park and a good price/value considering other nearby accommodations are much higher priced. Seemed to be newer with a good air conditioner and was clean. This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. "The accommodations were excellent. Great staff and excellent food. The entire safari experience was awesome. The rangers and trackers were the best."

"Not value for money. Dinner was tasteless. Disturbing was to catch a worker at 07:30 the next morning hiding under our tent while we were bathing. The wooden floor has clear gaps to look through. When confronted he said he was there to fix a problem. Complained to the manager and she only replied "Sorry for that". No investigation or request to identify the worker. Internet is non-existent and lights are inadequate in the tent. "

"I'm sure there are more luxurious lodges but this place is more than luxurious enough for 'normal' travellers. Most importantly all the rooms have aircon that works! All the staff were super friendly and service and food was top notch. Dean was a brilliant Ranger, really knowledgeable, and very entertaining and a big thanks to Dani as well for looking after us. We will be recommending Xanatseni to all our friends."

From beginning to end of the stay everything from staff, accommodation, attention to details, food, game drives, and the sense of community were beyond amazing.
