Garner's Getaway is a beautifully designed modern home with amazing panoramic views of Cape Lookout, Netarts Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. This comfortable 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home has so much to offer its guests. The open living/dining/kitchen area is the perfect place to gather with friends and family while enjoying the breathtaking views out of the numerous picture windows. You can curl up with a good book and a glass of wine on the cozy seat by the windows overlooking the bay and ocean, or stretch out on the plush sofas, with cable TV and DVD player, and opt for a relaxing movie night instead! Take advantage of all that Netarts and the Three Capes Loop has to offer! You can go hiking, kayaking, clamming, crabbing, fishing, biking, golf, and of course there's always just relaxing! It is only a 1.5 mile beautiful stroll to Oceanside where you can get a cup of coffee or enjoy a nice lunch. Garner's Getaway is just steps from the beach for all your sand castle building and kite flying needs.

** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee to cover the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.

Location excellent. Just wish the master bedroom had a view of ocean and a king bed. Although, Loved our stay!!! Kitchen well equipped and view upstairs gorgeous!!! Thank you

Loved Our Stay
The house was well equipped. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. This house has a great vantage point, and we had plenty of comfy chairs to look at the changing weather. Also, it was a very short walk to the beach.. We’ve stayed in a lot of places on the Oregon coast and this is one of our very favorites. We hope to come back.

Great property with amazing views. Yes there are a lot of stairs but we understood there needed to be a lot of stairs to get the amazing view. It had everything we needed for 5 adults.

The home is well positioned and provides a terrific 150 degree view of the ocean. Reverse floorplan maximizes the view potential and is highly efficient. Perfect place for a quiet off-season getaway with easy access to the beach.

Property needs some tlc the sinks would drain seemed clogged the slider screens need replaced and the stove fan didn’t work and there were birds living in it the small inconveniences didn’t make our stay bad at all just needs some little things to be perfect we will come stay again it was very peaceful and nice

Perfect, happy getaway!
Everything was great! Perfect spot to watch the waves, enjoy the sunsets and paddle the bay! Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfy. Only complaint is that the master bedroom/bath was super dark and a bit musty. Other two bedrooms had views of the bay and sun coming in. Clean place and rental company is top notch with clear communication (+kindness too)!

Great location to the coast beaches. This house is on the the bay where it meets the ocean. Lots of fishing, calming and crabbing on the beach and by boat at all hours of the night. Always something to watch while sitting on the deck. A house is being build across the street which will impact the view. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could want. The mattresses need to be changed out. Lots of steps without a bathroom on the upper level where the living space is. All of this did not make our stay less enjoyable. We had a great time.

Great place. Gorgeous view
House location right across from beach access. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. Came with family, 4 adults & 3 kids. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. This property is a bit older but nice. Only downfall is lots of stair (which is needed to get that beautiful view). My mom has knee issues but she managed. My husband had to carry our older labrador down front stairs but she managed the indoor stairs. I would absolutely love to stay here again & next time go crabbing! Loved seeing all the people out on the beach. This is just an amazing location. No cell service though. Does have land line which was the first one my young kids had ever seen 🤣. Restaurant Schooners is right down street & delicious food. Close to Cape Meares lighthouse and Tunnel beach! So many places to explore I'd love to come back in the summer and stay for longer.

Great View
We stayed here mid-week for some great crabbing- I messaged the owner and got a very prompt response regarding bringing a boat. The view was great and the home was well stocked with puzzles, games, and cooking items. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the amenities. The only feedback I would give on improvements is regarding the television and bedroom lighting. We wanted to book a place with two TV's as we have kids who wanted to stay separate from adults so that they could watch television/movies. We brought our gaming system and fire stick so that they would have their own fun away from the adults, but we discovered the TV in their room was not connected to anything except a VCR. There was no cable and the TV was pretty old, so it did not even have any ports or HDMI to connect to. The kids ended up staying in the living room watching really annoying stuff while we cracked crab, so that was a bummer that they did not have a kids area they could go to. There is a large pole light directly outside the guest bedroom window outside, we were blasted with light all night. Make sure you bring something to cover your eyes as its pretty bright in that room at night and there are no black-out shades, just standard blinds that let the light in. Other than that, we had a good time and loved the view the most.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family loved the time spent in Garner’s Getaway. It has an excellent view of the bay and ocean. You feel like you are on the beach while in the house. The living area is on the top floor so the sunsets were amazing. The unit was vey clean and well stocked. The house manager was easily accessible and made our stay comfortable. We spent Thanksgiving weekend there so there was a lot of cooking going on and all the accouterments needed were there. The home easily accommodates 8 people with seating, dishes, and linens. Beds for 6 adults but the couch is big enough to put a couple kids. The house is very family friendly with games, puzzles, and movies. There are two decks and a BBQ with everything you need for grilling a steak. One thing I loved were the heated floors! The one down side for me were the stairs. There is a steep set getting up to the first floor and another steep set getting to the top floor. If you have mobility issues you might rethink this one. I definitely would recommend a stay here and we hope to go back.

Great Escape - but low water pressure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great View. Very low water pressure - had to take very short showers. Washing dirty pans was not a breeze. Doing the laundry was also not easy - the washer would get limited water and there was a projection in the dryer that would snag onto clothes. The view and the kitchen appliances were fine. It was just the water pressure - anything to do with the water was a chore.
