Take in the incredible views, ocean breezes and sounds of crashing waves from every room of this Oceanside home, nestled in the hills of the village. The expansive views of the ocean allow you to view migrating whales and birds, colorful sunsets, the village, and the beach and breakers below. Yet the beach can be reached quickly by taking the public stone staircase just to the south of the house next door.

This home uniquely views Cape Lookout, the entrance to Netarts Bay to the south and Storm Rock of the National Wildlife Refuge to the northwest. Enjoy the warm floors of radiant heat on cold winter days while enjoying your morning coffee or storm watching from the cozy comfort of the master bedroom. This house has all of the comforts of home you would expect like modern appliances, a flatscreen TV with a DVD player, and more!

Enjoy access to many nearby activities, including hiking, kayaking, crabbing, and clamming, and there's even a secret tunnel at low tide. Watch paragliders take off from the launchpad at Maxwell Mountain and get a lovely overview of the entire area. Wonderful place
The property was a pleasant surprise. Very cute and well-maintained. The beds were wonderful and we had plenty of towels and washcloths. The kitchen is well stocked. I would recommend having some storage bags. Beautiful view of the ocean. Some great sunsets.

Amazing views
We loved the views, especially from the upstairs bedroom and walking down to the Oceanside beach. We miss the view and sound of the ocean now that we are home! It is very unexpected to have a toilet inside a bedroom, but the view from it is great!

Off the grid getaway
Home that is better than pictures. Good for a couple or 4 at the most. Views are amazing, well stocked with kitchen appliances (minus some common things like butter, spices, coffee, oils…might be stocked later as summer goes on) which are needed because the small charming town of Oceanside is very sleepy which we loved, cooked meals in most nights with groceries from a stop in Tillamook. Great outdoor recommendations. wifi worked as well. Would definitely stay again!

The property was great and just as described. So kudos to the owner. Vacasa the property management company never responded to my 2 requests for information. Everything is an automatic text or e mail versus a personalized approach. I prefer working directly with the owner and/or having someone respond to my inquiry versus an auto reply.

Scenic views, but some maintenance challenges
We loved our stay, but there were some issues that we should note. The door lock mechanism is tricky. You need to enter the numbers quickly or it will time out. The radiant floor heat was not responsive and maintenance needed to bring us 2 portable heaters when it was still 59 degrees after 3 hours. Once warmed up - we were able to maintain the temperature. Lightbulbs are out over the upstairs table and upstairs bathroom.

We love La Petite Maison
My husband and I have stayed in this adorable/comfortable little house with amazing views several times in the last 10 years, and we just had another fantastic stay. No matter what season, it's one of our happy places. It's got all you need for a comfortable stay, including all the major kitchen/household appliances and gadgets. Beds and armchairs are comfy, decor is minimalistic but tasteful, the large shower in the master bedroom luxurious. I almost like it better in colder weather because then I have an excuse for not having to leave the house and spend days just watching the ocean and birds flying by. We will be back!

The view is unbelievable and the location of this home is prime. Whales, pelicans, puffins - you name it - we saw it. The beach is filled with Agates and there is so much to do nearby. The wifi is horrible, so if you plan on streaming video or working, this is not the place for you. The pictures showed a telescope, which we would have loved, but there was non in the house. We fought over the binoculars.

Great Views!
My husband and I stay at La Petite Maison at least once a year. It is consistently well maintained and clean. The views are great and the cottage is just so comfortable and relaxing. The only issue we have with it is the early check out requirement at 10:00 instead of 11:00.
