This home is all view! Looking out, you have unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean, the surf, the beach, Cape Lookout, Netarts Bay, the Three Arch Rocks, sea lions, and birds of every description including eagles and pelicans. It sits at the end of a small gravel road high above the tiny village of Oceanside so there is no traffic at all. Not barbecuing allow.

Best View in Oceanside
This is our second stay here in this beautiful house. The house is immaculate and has everything you need for a peaceful and restful vacation. The view is so awesome that it’s hard to tear yourself away to explore the coast! We couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy all that central coast Oregon has to offer. We will be back!

Spectacular Views
We loved the location and the multiple viewing spots to sit and enjoy the Oregon coast. The place was well stocked and in good order. Owner was responsive for access and the home was clean and welcoming. On approach, do go to the end of the street as directed - the addresses are not in typical sequential order.

This was the perfect location for our 25th wedding anniversary. Great views and loved the deck. Having lunch on dining room table and viewing whales surfacing in the near distance was great. I couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Location is fantastic!
Waking up to the ocean, sea lions and beautiful scenery is priceless. Location to so many coastal Oregon treasures was wonderful. Rough around the edges in regards to dust all over and musty furniture in the upstairs.

Loved the view, location. Everything we could need in the kitchen which was nice. Options for eating out a bit limited. But we came just before tourist season really started. We were really needing a quiet getaway and very happy with choice. Thank you for sharing your home.

This house was a little challenging to find, but once we found it, we did not want to leave. The house is immaculate—I have extremely high standards for cleanliness. Tara had everything we needed; her house is cozy and comfortable. The view is unmatched. We were able to see seals on the rocks through the telescope the last day we were there. You can hear the ocean—it is calming and beautiful. The sunsets were incredible. Tara was so kind and accommodating. I appreciated her answering my questions immediately. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I have been coming to Oceanside for years and rain or shine it’s a favorite place for me. Tara’s house is beautiful and comfortable with awesome views. The kitchen was well stocked as were linens. We loved the wood stove. Brought and bought wood. It was so efficient we never turned on any of the heaters. The neighborhood is very quiet and I loved getting up in the morning and walking the hills. We will most certainly go back. I highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed. We loved the property, gorgeous views, lovely time in Oceanside. We stayed for a "babymoon," welcoming our second child soon and wanted a relaxing place to stay -- the place was perfect! Loved the reading nook upstairs, could hear the ocean from any room, comfortable furniture. We had such a nice time reading and having snacks on the deck, watching the water. Easy to drive down to Oceanside and park by the beach and go for long walks. The place is very private, you feel like you are in your own world, looking down on the ocean and wildlife below. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home! Beautiful view!
This lovely home had everything you could possibly need and a truly amazing view! We were so glad it was available for a week for our 55th anniversary! It was a great base to go north, south and east for day trips. We saw a pair of eagles out front almost daily and it was fun watching the sea lions on the offshore rocks. The wood stove was wonderful for those cold rainy nights. We really hope to come back. Thank you again for sharing your special home with us Tara!

Simply awesome!
This house is great. So comfortable - I wanted to stay forever. The views are among the most beautiful to be found anywhere in the world. The beaches below are teaming with tidepools and sea stacks. There are sea lions visible from the house. And Tara has provided everything a visitor could want. My daughter and I made memories here to last a lifetime. What an incredible value.

Well Worth It
This is one of the loveliest residences we have ever rented on the Oregon Coast. Beautifully appointed, clean, fantastic views. We have stayed in this community many times and this residence is well worth the cost. It made our anniversary really special. It is spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a loft bed, a window seat bed, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It couldn't be nicer.

This is our second stay at this lovely property in Oceanside. The property is well furnished with comfortable and pleasing furniture and includes a woodstove in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom where we stayed. Of course, the view is fantastic! One minor quibble is that the host stores food items in the cabinets, and there really was no place for us to put our groceries without removing those. The refrigerator also had condiments in it, and could have used a more thorough cleaning. However, we would definitely stay here again and have enjoyed both our stays immensely.

Beautiful house, but asked to leave early
My husband and I were on the coast to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and found this home and location to be absolutely beautiful! However, we were asked by the host to leave 2 days early due to an emergency in her family. She offered to reimburse us for the inconvenience and we accepted. Even though we couldn't find anything in Oceanside on such short notice given the holiday weekend, we were able to find accommodations in Newport. As of the date of this review, we still haven't received reimbursement from her and have been disappointed in the host's communication with us. While the house and view were amazing, the overall experience with the host was disruptive.
