Lovely stay!

We really enjoyed this house! Quiet peaceful neighborhood, clean comfortable house! The beds were very comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, the fireplace was great! I would rent here again! Only one suggestion; the two fry pans are really scratched up & everything sticks. A new pan would be nice with plastic utensils so it won't get scratched up. Overall a great stay, thank you!

Nice place

The place is nice. The only things I would say is that the trash lid is still broken (I didn't care too much about that) and the microwave handle is broken. The place is well stocked with appliances. An electric water kettle was great. They also had a few fans to keep the rooms cooler. I think to make it just a little cozier, I would have better chairs on the deck with foot stools and a little table to put your drinks on. Getting to the beach is an easy short drive, but in the future, I would probably spring for a place I could walk to the beach.

Great place but misleading ad

The house was beautiful and tastefully decorated. But the listing on Vacasa specifically mentioned this property being “within walking distance” from long beaches when there is NO walkable path to the beach. (The windy highway to the nearest beach is narrow and would be extremely dangerous to walk.) We were counting on not having to drive to get to beaches and specifically chose this property for that reason. The misleading ad really put a damper on our holiday.

The management company, vacasa, was unable to help us lock the door from the outside. We tried for 12 hours, and ultimately had to leave early. A vacasa supervisor spoke down to me, using angry tones, even after explaining that I have disabilities.

Casa Azul in Oceanside

My husband and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Casa Azul. Upon arriving, the home was clean and ready to be enjoyed. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped if you plan on cooking. The decor is modern, bright, and airy. We enjoyed having access to a television and Roku in the evenings. The electric fireplace also adds a nice touch. In the evening, there is a deer that sleeps in the greenery below the patio; I enjoyed watching her. My only complaint is that a few items were broken upon our arrival. The lid of the kitchen garbage can did not open and close, the downstairs bathroom shower liner only hung on one side as it had been ripped and the upstairs bed seemed to dip down quite significantly in the middle. The bed was also quite noisy with typical tossing and turning. I’m sure these issues all arose recently and can be easily remedied. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit to Oceanside. Thank you kindly!

Wrong number of beds

If you look at the pictures there are clearly three beds pictured. One twin, one full and one queen. When we got there they told us the third bed was actually a trundle. Vacasa staff was openly condescending and rude. This is the second terrible experience with this company. Also there were three beach towels which meant we were doing laundry constantly for a family of three. The downstairs bedrooms are so small you can barely walk into them. Overall do not recommend.

Great Fall Stay at Casa Azul

We loved our 5 night stay in Oceanside. The home is very nice, clean, well appointed and the layout worked great for 3 adults. The beds are comfortable. It was a plus having beach towels and chairs! You can hear the ocean with the patio door open. Recommended owner improvements: Mount the dishwasher (it’s hard to open. Whole unit pulls out & could damage the floor) Replace the queen duvet (its yellowing, a bit lumpy, we found black spots and long brown hairs) wet mop the floors (our socks were black), clean air intakes & the ceiling by the fan in the living room, Replace the small frying pan in the kitchen. None of the recommendations above took away from the enjoyable time in the home. We would recommend this home.

A beautiful place

We had a wonderful time at Oceanside going to the beach and exploring Mears state park nearby. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed in the way of kitchen things. The only thing that was difficult was that communication with vacasa the corporation that owns the property, was corporate in nature in that I had to find their contact information on their website. The welcome text that came to me when we arrived was not something that was connected to a real person, it seems!

Lovely little spot

This spot is in the lovely town of Oceanside. We love the Oregon Coast. Oceanside is a cute little spot, a little away from the mayhem of the bigger towns. The beaches both to the north and south of this house are lovely. We spent time each day on the porch watching the hummingbirds in the ravine. The house is a great size for our little family of three. It was clean, easy to access and well-appointed.

Nice getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in this nice quiet cozy getaway. The home is clean and well taken care of. Kitchen is stocked with everything for cooking. We would stay here again.
