Hand-crafted by the owner and his children, this beautiful home sits directly alongside a series of waterfalls, offering two wrap-around decks and a firepit with incredible views of the river and falls. Back inside, you'll enjoy the comforts of two fireplaces and a Ping-Pong table for hours of family fun!

This home is tucked away in the woods three miles south of the town of Tiger, where it backs up to the river and offers views of the water from each level of the house. You can walk down to the river's edge to fish or swim in the deeper pools below the falls, or drive six miles south to Tallulah Gorge State Park and explore 2,689 acres of wilderness. Black Rock Mountain State Park is only 10 miles north, and a wealth of local wineries are a short and scenic drive away.

That backyard view is worth every penny
The home is very spacious and you cannot beat the backyard view. If you are sleeping on the top floor, the sound of the creek at night will give you the best sleep ever. good value for money and a great location. A bit of road noise if you are on the main floor bedroom but not the end of the world. It’s a bit dated but a good spot to stay.

The Perfect Getaway!
The location was perfect. Being on the Tiger River was peaceful, beautiful, and fun! The playroom provided hours of enjoyment and a very competitive ping-pong tournament. The size of the home was just what we needed.

This is a cozy home with a absolutely beautiful creek. It has enough room for a large group! The couch is SUPER comfy. The decor is outdated, and the Kureg coffee pot doesn't work right, but overall, great property!!

Great place to stay
The house was amazing, lots of room for our big group and super pet friendly not to mention the pool/ ping pong table which added more entertainment! The river running in the back yard was beautiful and wonderful to sit by at night by the fire pit as we roasted marshmallows. The house was conveniently located to so many parks as well as stores near by it was a perfect location. My only regret is that we did not book it for a longer stay.

Wonderful!
What a great place to get away! We had 3 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space to not be on top of one another. The house is in the perfect location, close enough to great trails, shops, and food! We enjoyed the fire pit by the creek in the evening and listening to the waterfall. Also, our first time booking through VACASA. They were easy to contact for any concerns we had during our stay. We would highly recommend this place and using VACASA.

Nice stay with family.
The location on the creek is amazing. Beautiful falls to listen to and play in all day. The pictures of this house make it look much cleaner and newer than it is. It was fine but really needs a good deep clean and dusting.

Soothing sounds of the creek
Enjoyed Iistening to the falls on Tiger Creek as it ran past the rear of the house. Had the windows open listening to it when we went to sleep. Many other options to enjoy the peaceful sounds that include the deck, and the fire pit.

Beautiful large house right on the water
This house beat all of our expectations! Perfect house to bring our dog to also. Huge back deck with gate to keep kids and pets contained!. So many doors and balconies to overlook the waterfall. We slept with the doors open to hear the white noise of the falls all night. Tucked in the woods, but right in the middle of where we wanted to be for all the hiking we had planned. Great place to disconnect from the world and have a smore don't by the creek. We didn't want to leave!

Great views
The view of the water and falls were amazing. The house was nice, but needed some cleaning. We found items under beds, cobwebs in the kitchen bar area, the laundry room needed some cleaning and the fire pit next to the water was full of bottles and cans. For the price of the cleaning fee, it definitely needed more cleaning. The wifi is also not meant for large groups. My husband and I both needed to work and could not stay connected. But overall the place is nice, really enjoyed the game room and sounds of the rushing waters.

Beautiful Setting
Home is very spacious, but needs a little attention. Carpet downstairs had a small area that was torn. We were expecting more people to join us but it ended up being just my daughter and I, and this home is huge for just 2 people. The tv in the living room had 4 remotes that we could never figure out how to make the TV play. However, the scenery more than made up for these small things! We would definitely book again! Thank you for having us!

Excellent Location--Terrible WiFi
The location was spectacular with the falls right out the back door! But it wasn't the cleanest and we had a hard time getting the thermostat to work. The WiFi is nearly non-existent (wouldn't even support the TV streaming), so that was a challenge. We work remotely and needed to be able to correspond with our clients via our computer. Also, the creek keeps it very damp down by the fire pit. If you are inexperienced in starting a fire, it could prove to be a challenge.

Waterfall retreat
Positive: The view, sound and access to the falls was fantastic. Massive amount of space to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked. Fire pit and sitting chairs were awesome. Negative: Ants in master bedroom. Roku in living room didn’t work. Internet very slow. Moth ball smell in parts of cabin. Overall: A wonderful place to stay in spite of minor inconveniences. Definitely plan to return.

Nice place by the stream
My extended family all met up here for a fall getaway. The house was nice and pretty clean, and very comfy. The sound of the stream down below made my heart sing! Everyone enjoyed playing pool and watching movies together. However, you can hear trucks with their brakes going from the highway above at all hours of the day and night; we had to go out and purchase a can opener, trash bags, and some extra kitchen towels. Also, don't plan on more than one person showering at a time because there isn't enough water pressure to handle more than one thing at a time (this includes washing hands or flushing toilets while someone is showering). Considering there were 6 of us, this issue made things a bit complicated and required lots of planning and communication.

Peaceful waterfall perch
The location was great for Rabun Arena events. The views and sounds of the waterfall were wonderful. Unfortunately, the house had a very strong musty smell when we arrived. We were able to dissipate the smell by opening all of the windows, but it returned as soon as the windows were closed and the HVAC system turned on. This is probably not a good choice for anyone particularly sensitive to mold, and I recommend that the property managers check the property carefully to identify the source of the problem. The interior of the house itself was very clean, but the porch was a mess from tree droppings and bird poop when we arrived. More comfortable seating on the porch would be a big improvement as well.

The reviews posted here are missing so much!! The home is clean, well stocked and HUGE! We easily and comfortably housed two families with zero issues. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower, and each has a balcony or deck access as well as waterfall/river views. The river was a constant source of soothing background noise and beauty- to say nothing of the endless hours the kids spent playing and exploring. The property is really large, complete with a walking trail to another creek on the property. The property is easily accessed by any size car or even motorcycle, and is close to shopping, hiking, waterfalls, quaint towns and endless dining options- but still quite secluded. My family found it wonderful and will absolutely try to visit again! Additionally, this was my first experience with Vacasa Homes, and I was nothing but impressed with their professionalism, communication and quick responses.
