"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Had a relaxing three night stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space and very comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms although unfortunately the shower in the family bathroom was leaking down into the hallway so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. Not ideal but no fault of the owners. "We have stayed here for two consecutive years. It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. "Good location, with access to public transport and nearby park and ride. Accommodation was first rate, clean and well maintained. General area was quiet and well looked after too. Had a few unusual visitors, from the local Animal park (Peacocks) which made the stay unique and in fact wonderful. Very highly recommended and will visit again!"

"Traffic noise is horrendous starting at 4:00 in the morning. Place not clean, third bedroom is a cupboard under the stairs so our eldest son ended up sleeping on the settee all week. We had to pre clean the fridge and kitchen ware did not attempt to use the microwave as it was filthy. Oven was only a counter top thing not ideal for a family of 4. Very disappointing and tiring time."

"Lets start with the good points. Good location for the town, plenty of hot water. Large rooms with tall ceilings. Great radio. Comfy beds. We were booked for 2 nights and but came home after 1. The flat is looking tired now, in need of decoraction (eg yellowing gloss work), carpets and a general refresh. Scaffolding obscuring the views. We arrived to no made up beds or towels which in fairness was rectified by the owner within 3 hours. Locks are fiddly. Overnight the flat was very noisy, both...
