"A lovely clean fresh room. The Pub is a beautiful quaint typical English pub with beams in the ceilings and hops hung up everywhere. The room (accessed by outside paths - but every room has an umbrella for use). Room has everything you need. Tea, coffee, biscuits, soaps, shampoo etc. We took our dog and the 'dog pack' is a wonderful idea with treats, poop bag towel and cover to protect bedding (if your dog is inclined to sleep on your bed). "It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"Cleverly decorated with good supplies (apart from drinkable tap water). It was cosy and well heated, which was just as well as the shower was rubbish (freezing cold with low pressure) and the room is separate to the hotel - the door opens directly onto the carpark "

"We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food."
