"My husband and I treated ourselves to a night at Woodhouse the night before departing New Zealand. It is only an hour and a half from Auckland airport despite being quite out of the way in amongst hilly sheep farms. Everything was wonderful...views, decor, food. The main lodge and the cabins have been beautifully decorated. Cabins are large with ample living area including a fireplace and a large bathroom with double shower and spa tub. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Customer service was excellent. My only complaint...our spa bath and gas fireplace did not work."
