"“Paradise Cottage” was such a great stay for us in Hinton as we checked off another national park! It was spotlessly clean, easy to access, and so lovely to have basic/starter supplies made available on arrival (plus the lovely welcome basket!). We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the river and our daughter loved the geese!! The bedrooms were both very spacious and the beds comfortable; we slept so well! It was a short drive to both Sandstone Falls and the Sandstone visitor center and....

"The cabin was clean and had a gorgeous view of the river! The scent of the cabin was strong for my taste (woody? Candles? Not sure). There is not much to do in nearby areas but my goal was to stay near new river gorge park not to be in a place with lots to do, so this was perfect! Only downside is proximity to the train tracks. Train is very loud as it passes, but I would stay there again! I ran into the host’s son walking his dog as I was leaving because he lives nearby and he was so kind and...

"Good location near town. Spacious but stairs a bit steep to 2nd floor so be careful especially if you need to come down in middle of night. We had a WiFi outage that was resolved the next day with a small refund.. so hosts were responsive and considerate. I recommend this place."

"Carri’s place is a must stay! It was immaculate and bigger than advertised! It was a lovely stay and we would definitely return. It was so wonderful to find each room thoughtfully put together with cozy extra blankets and fresh cut flowers! She thought of everything, from games to coloring supplies for the kids. There is Lots of seating, a big cozy sectional paired perfectly with an array of Togo snacks and hot cocoa left in a little basket. The dining room seats 8 and a beautiful patio table on...

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was about a half-hour drive from the main visitor center in New River Gorge National Park. Two very nice state parks were also within a relatively short driving distance. We used the full-size kitchen for breakfast and dinner. It was nice having a dishwasher. The kayaks and fire pit were a lot of fun. "

"Our family stayed for a couple of nights at this cozy farm house. The property is clean and updated, with modern conveniences. The lot is large and we enjoyed the backyard space. Close to the highways and conveniently located, the area is amazing. Plenty of space to spread out."
